I don't know of any HP avatar sites offhand.  Sorry.

This site has some great avatars:  Don't click on it if your connection is slow!!! It doesn't load in an instant even on broadband!!!

Also, most avatars is too big for the Leaky Lounge's max size. There are a few small ones though..

I believe to do that you just enter the code to put in a picture (the same way you would do so on the forums):

As to some sites for HP icons, HP_icons is a good place to find literally thousands of HP icons (some moving).  Also, Stellar Dream has pretty icons, too.

Just as a reminder, make sure when using avatars to upload them either to your own server, or else to upload them to an image hosting site like Image Shack or Photo Bucket.

If we do notice that you're "hotlinking," in other words, that you're directly linking to one of the sites listed on this thread, your avatar or other image will be deleted by either myself or another admin, and please take this as your hint to upload it to an image hosting site.  If you keep on putting it up there hotlinked, we'll PM you about it.  If you *still* keep hotlinking it intentioinally, we'll give you an official warning and start going down the list of disciplinary actions, but I doubt that anybody would intentionally not upload their image(s), so I doubt that that would happen here.  We have had some problems with people hotlinking, but hopefully we'll get it all straightened out.

Also, I'm changing the title of this thread and pinning it.

I know that www.avatarity.com is one of the recommended sites. I actually wanted an avatar from there and signed up but they never sent me an e-mail so I could validate my account. No I want to contact them, but I can't find anything on their website about how to do so. I was just wondering if anyone else knows what there e-mail or whatever else there is so that I can get in touch with them?

Just wanted to add that I just recently started an icon journal of my own: Dahling_Icons.  I already have quite a few icons up and a lot of them are Harry Potter.  I've got another Harry Potter batch coming up soon, too!
