I believe this is the potter hoodie people are talking about:

When do you think the Dumbledore's Army Shirt is going to be in (I want to get it for my birthday:D)

I saw GoF at the Imax this week and I noticed a lot of non-uniform hogwarts clothing like hoodies and I was wondering if we would see more stuff like this in the shop

This forum has been up for roughly one year and it has been a lot of fun.  There have been loads of good ideas being submitted and I have enjoyed submitting my fair share.

This product discussion has been refreshed a few times now and many people tend to submit very much the same things, again and again.

Would it be good to have a locked list of things that have been submitted and in that, ideas that have been considered or are now in the shop?

That way new people can see what has already been submitted and what new or improved ideas and concepts can be submitted in future. :apaw:  :gry:

Further to my last post.  I think that the board for people to put down what houses they belong to, should go back up.  If not, a new one should be put up, but without the facility to add comments.  Perhaps have the tally showing at the top of everybody's display, how many people of each house (or even school) are users of Leaky...

If it has been moved, please let me know.

An update on the fabric post Ila. I have bought some Harry Potter fabric, and thought I would give you the info I have about them.

They have been produced by Spring Industries and the fabric I have bears the notice "Harry Potter, characters, names and related indicia are the trademarks of Warner Bros © SO1 #9197". There's also another one "This product is intended for non-commercial home use. Not intended for children's sleepwear."

Here are a few pictures:

Quidditch

Burrow

Polyjuice

Nimbus

Flying Car

Four Houses

Hedwig

There are a couple more... Just do a search on eBay under "Harry Potter fabrics". I'm not saying we need precisely those ones... Just fabrics period!

I recently tried to bid on tote bags being sold on E-bay.  They were imprinted with Diagon Alley, Herbology, Hogsmeade, Hogwarts,  and Potions.  They sell for between $11 and $22.  These would be a great product for your site to sell. Apparently this seller has a hard time keeping them in stock.

Yes, but is it licensed?  I might not always agree with licensing, but to not do so means you are breaking international copyright laws.  It might be a bit different if you did a school project and made one.  But it is the principle at the end of the day and the creative people like JKR don't profit from this.

It is no different from buying a CD and then copying all the tracks and selling them.  It is wrong.
