 Hey all,
Well, over the past week or two, whilst browsing through WWN, I've realised the sheer number of Oasis fans there are on the Lounge!! So gather here, and talk about this absolutely fantastic band!!
Let me start. I've been a fan of Oasis for as long as I can remember, but never truly got into their music until there were huge changes in my life. They're simply awesome. It would be too hard to pick a favourite song from them, they're all great!!

QUOTE(Mistressofthedarkarts @ Jan. 20 2006,8:29 pm) QUOTE(Lord Montymort @ Jan. 20 2006,11:14 ) I've got all their albums, but sadly I'm missing my Definitely Maybe album (goes of to cry) cause that has to be their best album IMO In defence of Noel and Liam that's what made people love them, their attitude to it all. That's very true... although I like (What's the Story?) Morning Glory a bit better because THAT was the album that skyrocketed them to fame. My Definitely Maybe was taken back by a mate of mine, so now I've got to get my own. And of course they're arrogant. That's Oasis in a nutshell, isn't it?? I disagree, Definitely Maybe skyrocketed them, cause it still to this day held as the best debuted British album in some polls. Morning Glory just cemented their legacy. :D

I'm a amssive Oasis fan, their earlier stuff is amazing and will be held in high regard forever and ever, but i wa so disappointed by heathen chemistry, i really did not like it at all. Latest album is better, i love the Importance of Being Idle, and the video is fantastic, but HC remains the worst album of the lot.
The Masterplan is quality, so under rated!
Don't Look Back In Anger, Wonderwall, Talk Tonight, Champagne Supernova, Rock n Roll Star, Live Forever, Supersonic, Cigarettes and Alcohol, Some Might Say are my favs. (Would have been easier to say 'all of them' really!)

I suppose that's what I meant; it was the one that cemented them in the music industry, and made a lot of people sit up and take notice.
Severus_snivellus, I liked Don't Believe the Truth too!! Especially The Importance of Being Idle; I  the video for that!! So cool! :)

My first thought when I saw the title of this thread was "AIEEEEE!!!!" (good idea, Mistress! )
I absolutely LOVE Oasis!!!! I just got into them recently when a friend recommended them, and I'm SO glad he did!!
My favorites: Wonderwall (I  this song so much!!), Champagne Supernova, Hello, Morning Glory, Supersonic, Cigarettes and Alcohol, Part of the Queue, The Importance of Being Idle... seriously I could go on!!
I just got ahold of my friend's copy of Definitely Maybe today, so I'm DEFINITELY loading it into iTunes!
