The Blue Suede Shoes Wedding Chapel will be open on Sat. July 15th as part of the Viva Las Vegas activity!
* For 10 minutes at the top of every hour the Chamber of Chat Study Hall will become the "Blue Suede Shoes Wedding Chapel." Peeves will be giving out marriage advice and serving as wedding officiator! * McDreamy (the skeleton) will serve as groom for all you witches out there and the lovely Lunilda (the statue) will be that very special bride for you gentleman. * The first weddings will be at 9am with the last weddings ending at 8:10pm. * All marriages end at 9pm on Saturday evening - you know how those quicky weddings can be * The Chamber of Chat Leaky Cauldron will serve as the wedding reception center * Be sure to invite your own wedding guests, bridesmaids and best men, and flower girls. Hey - even get a friend involved as your wedding planner to help you choose your avatar outfit and reception food! Don't forget to get a wedding photographer to take screenshots of your special day. As with other TLC-wide activities on the 3rd Saturday of each month, moderate wedding-related role-play will be allowed, but remember the first rule of the CoC - Be Nice
All listings are U.S. Eastern time (New York City). Here is a world clock to help you figure out what time this would be at your location.

Chamber of Chat "I Love the CoC!" Activity In the classical style of VH1's "I Love the 80's," join us from 12-6pm on Saturday July 22nd for a day of reliving some of our favorite CoC activities from the last year or so. Activities will repeat approximately once every 2 hours so that everyone who is available has the chance to hopefully participate at least once. Watch for your favorite characters to know when an activity is about to start! Silly Trivia about the CoC Staff (12:00-12:30, 2:00-2:30, 4:00-4:30pm) That tricky Peeves has been gathering silly trivia about the CoC staff! Join us in the Gryffindor Tower where Peeves will ask the questions...and you have to guess the answer! Draw with Dobby (12:30-1:00, 2:30-3:00, 4:30-5:00pm) Dobby's favorite Harry Potter character is of course, Harry Potter! Which one is yours? Join Dobby in the Magical Art room to draw your favorite characters from the HP books or movies. Don't worry - this is practice time! Dobby promises to let those who draw have 3 minutes each, even if someone DOES guess your character H.P. on the C.o.C. (1:00-1:30, 3:00-3:30, 5:00-5:30pm) Join Hagrid in the Rune Field for some academic discussions about the Harry Potter books. Each class session will have its own topic, so pay attention to 'ol Hagrid and you'll do just fine. Be sure to have your HP books on hand! Dobby is Free! (1:45-2:00, 3:45-4:00, 5:45-6:00pm) Whenever you see Dobby wander into your room - everyone yell "Dobby Is Free!" and form a dog-pile around him as tight as you can! Duel Till You Drop (12-6pm) Has it been awhile since you've had the chance to duke it out? Has Snape been teasing that you are as bad a spellcaster as Lockhart? Well head on over to the Dark Forest. But be forewarned, if you enter this place the spells will be flying! Please try to keep it to no more than two-on-one duels so this all-day event stays fair and fun Avatar Fashion Show (12-6pm) The Study Hall is the stylish place to be. Walk the red carpet and show us all of your favorite avatar styles! Potluck Buffet (12-6pm) Hungry? Bring your favorite dishes to "share" with your fellow members over in the L. Cauldron. The buffet will be free for all so come help yourselves! Essay Contest - "I Love the CoC!" Wondering if we are giving away any prizes for any activities? Well we are! We created an essay contest to take care of the job. The topic is "I Love the CoC." Read here for more details and how to submit an essay. Helpful Links:
