Alas, we crafters all have them... Those projects, half started (or half finished, depending on how you see things!), hidden in a drawer or wardrobe.

Have you got any WIPs? Tell us about them here!

I love to cross stitch, so I have TONS of WIPS! Unless I'm specifically stitching something for a gift, I almost always find something else I'd rather start than finish whatever it is I'm working on. I guess my biggest WIP is a picture that I'm stitching of my former boss. I took a photograph and scanned it into one of those software programs that makes charts out of pictures for you. I started it 2 years ago, and it was supposed to be his 50th birthday gift. He'll be 52 this fall!!!!!! Fortunately he doesn't know I'm doing it since it was supposed to be a surprise, so I guess I'll give it to him if/whenever I get it finished.

I'm looking forward to hearing about others' WIPS so that I know I'm not the only one! wink.gif

I'm also working on a picture of my mom I inputed in those pattern conjurers. It's a b&w picture of her when she was 1-2. I was planning on doing another picture of her at 49 beside that one, then place it on a scrapbook and give it to her for her birthday... But considering I'm like 5 months late on my "schedule", I don't think I'll actually be able to do the 49 picture. I'll see how things go, and work from there I guess!!

But for wizarding crafts, I'm currently working on a Ravenclaw vest size 8 I hope to have finished for Lumos (I'm almost finished with the back, so *just* the front and ribbing to do!), plus I have to block my Ravenclaw scarf and add fringes. I'm also involved in a crafts swap on Craftster and for that I'm making a breakfast tray (I'll whip up a tutorial for that too), a cross-stitched bookmark and a padded photo album with a stencil on top. I have to send all three items by Monday, and so far only the breakfast tray is halfway done eek.gif I'll need to get a move on! biggrin.gif

I have lots of WIPS (and UFOs!), both HP and non-hp related! My biggest right now is a quilt that I'm hand quilting. It's my first one to hand quilt and my thumb and index finger will never be the same! I'm on my third for fourth type of thimble and still searching for the perfect technique. It is coming out nice, though. On top of that, I have several quilt tops that are anxiously waiting to be turned into quilts.

Hmmm... ponder.gif I also have a 1/2 completed crocheted blanket for the local charity group I volunteer for (www.linusconnection.org). I tend to crochet less in the summer and only turn in quilts for Linus. I've been pretty much neglecting crochet all together since I started the hand quilting project.

I have a huge stack of HP-related paper pieced patterns I designed for my website that I still have to test. I try to get a couple done every week, but I tend to put it off then do five or six at a time out of guilt! I also have a super long list of pattern ideas (it's got about 60 things on it I haven't tried yet!) that I've received from pretty much everyone I know and some people I don't!

Magical Crafting Everyone! wizard.gif

Jennifer

My WIPS? Let's see. I have a few house scarves in progress. Four to be exact. Three Gryffindor and a Ravenclaw. Three Movie 1 style and one Movie 3 style. I'm also working on bookmark house scarves. I also have loads of non-HP WIPS.

Well my recent Work In Progress is this:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v78/Jane...arryPotter1.jpg

(and if I have done wrong, posting this link Please let me know smile.gif
It is the Gryffindor badge. It was in a embroidery magazine, in England, and they called it a "Pub Sign". But seeming it was so close to the Gryffindor badge, I converted it.
My current WIP is a standard pincushion! biggrin.gif

You did perfectly... May I use these pictures on Leaky? If so, e-mail it to me at harrypottercrafts@gmail.com (just so I don't forget, as I treat the uploads in the order I receive them... and I'm quite behind right now!)

Good luck with the pincushion!

Well I am still trying to figure which pictures to put on my duct tape bag that is black but I think I know what I might do... Maybe the four house badges and the then hogwarts one in the center....

I also made a duct tape tie... A bit different thought when I made the sheets I striped the colors yellow and black and Icut on a slant so it is therefore a hufflepuff duct tape tie and as soon as I buy a clip it will be a hufflepuff clip-on duct tape tie so when the hufflepuffs party and a drink spills it comes right off smile.gif

I would take pics but I think something is wack with my camera I just tried turning it on and its screen only comes up white... oi va technology smile.gif
