A friend of mine and I watched GOF again last night and I don't know how I forgot this part, but the bathtub scene with Moaning Myrtle is also one of the most horrible, cheesy scenes I've seen in the HP films. It is so totally off the mark with what happened in the book and it is just really bad. It could have been done much, much better.

I know I replied in Part I of this thread, but I think that was before GOF came out, so I'm going to add the Myrtle bathtub scene as well.

It was just a little too overdone.

(oh, and I know it isn't really fair to make predictions about OotP yet, but I think Grawp has the potential to be the cheesiest bit in that one)

Without a doubt, I think the cheesiest scene in any of the HP films was the quick shot of Hagrid and Maxime dancing at the Yule Ball - when Hagrid sneakily moves his hand down to Maxime's rear end, and she shoots him a coy and disapproving look... I hated that scene, actually - It was just like about a million other scenes from a million other movies... It was cheesy and silly and painful to watch...

I agree with previous posters, too - the scene with Myrtle in the Prefect's bathroom was overdone...

my head tells me that i agree with you all, saying about how the myrtle scene is overdone, and doesnt agree with the book enough... i thought all that too when i watched it - especially that it doesnt correspond with the book and the rest of the story... however, when im watching it, i love it! I dont know why, i know its really kinda bad, it just makes me giggle...

Hmmm.
Mine would have to be in PS when Harry gets out of the hospital wing and WOW, Ron and Hermione are at the top of the stairs, chatting away and he says "All right, Ron?", Ron replies, then Harry turns to Hermione and she goes "Never Better" in the sweetest little voice. That one just kills me.

OK, mine is those silly shrunken heads on the Knight Bus. Absolutely no need and dumb with that hokey Jamacian accent. Then to top it off, it's on the extra features and never shuts up!

In PoA when Harry finds out about Sirius being his Godfather and he's "crying" on that rock and says "I'm going to kill him!" That was so cheesy.

I agree with m.a.m for SS.

In CoS at the very ending when everyone is clapping Hagrid... seriously, that has to be one of the cheesiest.

In GoF, I agree that the bath scene was annoying.
