Over 70 images have now been added to the Gallery of the premiere for Alan's latest film, "Snowcake". Amongst others at this event were Jo Rowling and her husband Neil.

Our Alan Rickman album in the Gallery is now huge, so instead of having several threads for each new item, we're going to have this new "Alan Rickman Appreciation Thread", for all you Rickman fan-girls and boys to enjoy .
Here you will find appearances at premieres and award shows, some brilliant images from many of his films including the hilarious Galaxy Quest and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and also images from his many performances on the stage.
We have over 800 images here for your to enjoy, and if anyone sees Gallery Girl Amoscotia drooling in there, please clean up after her  !

I have ADORED Alan Rickman ever since I saw Robin Hood:Prince of Thieves more than a decade ago. The ONLY reason to see this movie is to watch Rickman. He gives a very campy performance and absolutely steals every scene he is in!
I also LOVED him in Sense and Sensibility. He, Emma Thompson, Kate Winslet, Hugh Grant...oh my goodness, THE WHOLE CAST WAS WONDERFUL. A very special movie.
Having seen him in the four HP movies, I cannot imagine anyone else in this role. I LOVE Rickman so much that I'm certain Snape will turn out to be GOOD not EVIL!

But, I have to say (at the risk of mentioning the h*** word) my first thought was, whats with the hair?? But, looking at the pics some more, he actually looks totally awesome & I guess it's a measure of his acting ability that, even in a still pic, he so is able to look the part.
