Hi I was wondering, is there a thread in here, or topic that you can discuss non-Harry Potter related things?

Doorfink, the regular Pub forums are what you're looking for here. Otherwise, the LL Sitemap can help you navigate this wonderful place: Sitemap

Hope that helps. And enjoy! biggrin.gif

I have a theory about Snape's true identity, where can I put that?

Olivia C, that depends on what the theory is. We have threads already in Flourish & Blotts (our HP books discussion area) for Snape discussion, such as Snape's Loyalty (part 30), Snape in Love (part 2), or Events Which Shaped Snape's Behavior. If your particular theory is related to something else in the books, such as Snape dying, then that part of it could go into the proper thread, in this case the great big who will die thread. Depending on how many different aspects there are to your theory, you might have to discuss them in separate threads as separate theories, as well.

I'd recommend just reading threads and posting replies to those threads for at least another week so that you can get more of a feel for what's already out there and where people are discussing it. If you would like a guide of the Lounge (it can be confusing at first!) check out our sitemap, which includes links to every public forum on the Lounge and--if you hover over the forum names--descriptions of what you can find in each one.

Happy Lounging!

Hey Guys!

I am seeing rumors that Emma Watson is thinking of not signing for the remaining 2 movies? Is there a thread for this? Where should I go???

There is a news topic on the Newsweek interview here, and two similar topics in our Argent Scrim's Film Emporium forum (our HP film discussion section): Changing the Actors: Would it ruin the movies? and The Young Actors/Actresses: will they stay?

Hopefully this helps! Be sure to read through the threads to know which one's right for the questions you'd like to ask or the aspects of Emma's interview you'd like to discuss and bring up.

Hey,

I want to draw a parallel between snape and House MD, who is not a character in the Harry Potter books. It doesn't fit the criteria of the 'Nook...

Is it a theory about what will happen in a future book, or just comparing them as works of art/literature? If it's the former, then it belongs in Unfogging the Future. If it's the latter, then it belongs in Obscurus, with the caveat that it must be an analysis of the differences and similarities, not just a list of differences and similarities (i.e. you must provide discussion points in your post, because it is prone to being a non-discussional thread).

Is there an area that just discusses the books themselves, like a synopsis type forum or your general feelings about a specific volume? Am I getting my point across? I never know... blush.gif
