Well, i have been in a discussion that started in a thread about your favourite Kids TV shows, and then we seem to have gone rather off topic, reminiscing about the good old days in the 90's...so before we all got the thread closed due to going off topic, I thought it would be a good idea to open a thread dedicated to reminiscing alone!!

You had a wierd alien in gooey stuff in a pod
You collected Tazos
You know the Macarena by heart
You ate BN biscuits
"TALK TO THE HAND" ENOUGH SAID.
You remember Numbertime

You remember BumBags
You know the words to the 'Shaky Jake'Advert
You've worn leggings and felt cool
You've ever ended a sentence with the word "SIKE!"

You remember when it was actually worth getting up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons.

When playing power rangers with friends you fought over who got to be who............and still all ended up being tommy.

You remember watching home alone 1, 2 , and 3........and tried to pull the pranks on "intruders"

That list forgets a few things/people that defined the 90s. Allow me to add:
The Spice Girls - I loved them, had the T-shirt, read the magazine, even wrote to them (they wrote back when Geri left and I didn't like them anymore  )
Steps - 5,6,7,8 - you know you wanted to learn how to line dance, don't deny it....
S Club 7 - before S Club Juniors/8
5ive - will make you get down now...
Hanson - they were/are rubbish
Backstreet Boys, and all the other boy bands....
Mambo No. 5 LOL  I knew the words, how sad am I??
Channel 5! Wow, and after about a decade I still don't watch it...
Comet Hale Bop - that freaked me out when I saw it because it was during my 'fear of aliens' phase.
Um, I can't think of anymore, all of a sudden its hard to remember

Kiss Chase - not a game at my all girls school, either that or it would have been kinda creepy for 10 year olds
British Bulldog - never banned strangely enough, but it is actually illegal now
melj1213, wow an extended version of the list I posted, but it is more American friendly, we weren't being very friendly to our international friends before.
Just a few thoughts:
~light up trainers, always cool
~leggings, hey they are back now, fortunately I have had the sense to avoid this time this time around, once was enough for me
~bum bags, where do I start except to say I had at least 2 of them
~capri sun, umbongo were way better!
Anybody remember scrunchies(sp?)?
ETA: devilssnare12, they played Mambo No. 5 at my school ball a few weeks ago, I remembered all the words. What about that hit 'Barbie Girl'?

Kiss chase... we played it all the time, but there was no escape because being a boarding school, a new game could be started at any time, day or night!!
British Bulldogs...we always played that game, even after it was banned, we just changed the name every time the teachers banned it
As for scrunchies, I still have loads...just not in the luminous colours from my childhood LOL
