Love 101  Gather round. Gather round. I have just been given permission to start this little thread called Love 101. So many things to discuss in this thread, so little time. You know how the phrase goes: Celebrity is as celebrity does. Points to discuss in our beautiful thread: What would Amortentia smell like for you? What is Love? Famous Love Quotes Favorite Ships in HP While I have everyone focused on me, I shall be the first to answer these wonderful topics that I picked out. What would Amortentia smell like for you? The smell of Amortentia for me would be ME. I think I am great and I love myself so much so of course it would smell like wonderful me. What is Love? Love is beautiful and grand kind of like me. Ah, yes. How I love me. Let me count the ways. Famous Love Quotes ....A simple I love you means more than money.... ~ by Frank Sinatra ~ This is such a great quote on love. Wait a minute .more than money??? Oh, I change my mind. My books have made a lot of money. What would Amortentia smell like for you? For me Amortentia would smell like Pine forest, Cinnamon and Autumn; I don't know what the last smell is exaclty only that when it's Autumn it's in the cool wind and really reminds me of October my favorite month. What is Love? Ah such a heavy question I could write on for pages and pages about this subject but I will be brief: Love is Sacrifice, Love is Passion, Love is selflessly thinking of others before ones self, Love is a power untamable and untethered. Famous Love Quotes "Love is the same with all that breathe everywhere, love is Sacrifice" - Demon from Angel. Favorite Ships in HP Well I have a nice avatar displaying some of my favorite ships but I also enjoy Lupin/Tonks, Harry/Ginny, and Molly/Arthur. For the deluded Shipper in me Neville/Susan.

For me, Amortentia would smell like my trusty Harry Potter books and McDonald's french fries.

Love is caring about the other person as much as you care for yourself, or even a bit more than you care for yourself. You honor your Beloved, which means you see them as precious and beautiful. Because they have your esteem, they have weight in your life; you make inclusive decisions based on what they like or need or how they feel. One offers one's time to the one that is loved. (Among other things.) Love is respect. Respecting one's dearest heart means that you look attentively at the person, able to discern things about them, to lift up their heart and spirits in acceptance, cherishing, and empathic/passionate companionship.
 To Love, Honor, and Cherish are powerful Oaths that take energy and focus to realize on a day to day basis. True love is of the spirit. It preserves and destroys, it creates and combines, it is the most powerful force in the universe.  Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!

May I express a bit of a surprise at a Malfoy having such sensitivity? Shows Prof. Dumbledore's right, one shouldn't judge...A favorite love quote? My Amortentia scents are new book smell, snow, and baking bread. Ahhh.
What is Love? There's a capital "L" there; that makes me happy. Speaking in reference to HP, Love is the opposite of the Dark Arts. Getting more specific and breaking into real life, Love is something very vague and powerful, hence the importance of the capital letter. It has an infinite amount of applications and can either operate blatantly (as it did in Godric's Hollow) or in a more subtle manner (in my opinion, this is responsible for Harry's amazing luck thus far in the story). Famous Love Quote: "Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, edures all things. What would Amortentia smell like for you? Amortentia would smell like... Mango, fresh paper, oatmeal cookies, Axe deoderant, baby lotion, freshly cooked rice and the sweet sweet smell of Avalanche Roses. What is Love?
