First off I want to say that Fan Art Avatars are truly my favorite ones around. I got into making icons because of Fan Art (specifically Marta's work) and I felt it could easily be addapted into icons. Some of my most recent Fan Art Icons are below
 using art by the wonderful Marta (known as seviet) whose art can be found here
 and  are icons featuring art by reallycorking an artist who has art in our own fan art gallery.
One of the last icons I'm going to share is done with art by mudblood428 (who is also in our galleries!)
This icon is just a small bit from her picture titled "And So Do I" a fantastic piece showing a moment between Dumbledore and Harry.

I wanted to present an avatar for each of our first three Featured FanArtists--
Our first FFA was Caladan. I did this avatar from her fantasy image of Albus and Aberforth at the Hogshead Inn--

I recently made this avatar
 using with Marta's (known as seviet) art (which can be found here) and this icon  with art by reallycorking of our own fan galleries for an icontest called ginny_challenge
I really need to branch out and make icons that aren't of Ginny... But she's my favorite!
