Hey everyone, I'm a new member here. My name is Brittany, and I'm 14 years old. smile.gif I've been a HP fan for nearly 6 years now *spring 2002*! My half-brother got me into it - I watched Sorcerers Stone on DVD & whala!

Oh gosh, I cried about 7 times during Deathly Hallows. It had so many intense emotions - it seems like I was always either crying, laughing, gasping, or jumping for joy. There were very few dull moments - that's why it's so brilliant. JK Rowling is a writing goddess. <3 Anyway, to the point...

- Harry finally finding Godric's Hollow & James and Lily's graves. I started when he fell to his knees & cried. It was so bittersweet. Hermione comforting him was a cute brother/sister or mother/son moment. smile.gif

- Ron coming back, saving Harry's life, & then breaking down at Riddle!Harry/Hermione. I wanted to hug him. D: I surprisingly didn't cry when Ron left, but felt Hermione's pain. Dang locket controlling his mind. >.<

- Hermione being tortured & Ron sobbing, pounding on the walls, and screaming her name. The fact he offered to be in her place shows he matured & deeply cared for her. I could sense Hermy holding onto fate too.

- Dobby's death. I had just finished crying & then this comes up. It's just how he saved everyone and then gets stabbed by Bellatrix (vile twit). Harry having a mini funeral for him was incredibly sweet.

- Snape's death and how Harry found out the truth. I knew for quite some time he loved Lily. His past was rather tragic & the fact Harry didn't get to see his positive side saddens me.

- Harry walking to his "death". Him asking Sirius if dying hurts & "I am about to die" simply made me lose it. I had a feeling he wasn't truly gone, but I was beyond curious for a long while.

- Fred's death. It was so unexpected for me...the Weasleys reaction is what got me. The fact George lost his other half & Ron going insane...for the third time. Aww, poor Ronald. <3

Phew! I actually didn't cry to Hedwig, Tonks, and Lupin's deaths, because with Hedwig so much else was going on & T/L happend out of the blue. Poor Teddy, though. At least he has godfather Harry. ^.^ I almost cried at Lily's letters. I probably got a bit teary-eyed. And of course the thing we all bawled over - the end of an amazing series! D:

Let's see...when did I cry:

-When Fred died...my worst crying moment. Percy's reaction was amazing and gives me chills just thinking about it. I was bawling. cry.gif

-When Hermione was being tortured. Ron beating on the wall and offering to be tortured instead shows how much he loves her. It was very emotional...I think this was the most emotional book, from laughter to tears to absolute shouting.

-When Ron had to battle his demons, I wasn't crying but it was heartwrenching as were a lot of parts of the book. Another one that was like that for me was Molly dueling Bellatrix--heartwrenching that is.

I probably have more...and will report back later.

"Seen anything yet?" Harry asked them after a quarter of an hour's quiet crystal gazing.
"Yeah, there's a burn on this table," Ron said, pointing.

Maybe I'm just insensitive, but I didn't cry at any point of the book. Not one tear. But that's not to say I was sad at some of the deaths.

Dobby had to be the worst. I never saw it coming. He saves them but dies in the process. Then Harry dug the grave for him with the spade. "Here lies Dobby, a free elf" At least he died a good death.

The others while sad, weren't even close to as sad. But was a bit sad/mad that everytime a wizard laughs he dies. Except Bela, she had it coming. "Not my daughter, you (insert word here)"

Hedwig had to be the second most emotional. But at least she has 37 horcri. And is part phoenix.
Just Kidding, but come on, you have to make jokes in sad topic like this. ;)

I cried also when harry couldn't find hagrid after the 7 potters just because i was so sure that he was gonna die- anytime he left i thought it was for good.

hedwig's death was one of the saddest, just because it was the most unexpected in my opinion. fred's was pretty bad too, and i couldn't believe tonks and lupin, and of course i was crying during doby's scene- i could hardly read it!!- but hedwig...

I was on the verge of tears at certain parts, but I didn't cry at all. I do not cry very easily. The last time that I cried was when I was thinking of my grandpa who died two years ago.

I basically cried constantly throughout DH. Yes, there were times when I laughed, but I think there was just so much going through my head as I devoured it. It was the end and that was reason enough for me to bawl. I don't think I stopped crying from The Battle of Hogwarts until the end of the book. I was practically hyperventilating during "The Forest Again". Ok, I know I seem like a crybaby, but everything about DH was so emotionally charged. Amazing.

Ok let's see... hmmm... well here's my list...

- Hedwig; because she was always there for him, during summers when he was stuck with the Dursleys I'm pretty sure that I remember screaming "NO!!!!!!!" as I was reading

- When Harry couldn't find Hagrid... I refused to accept that... so before I went on I went back to see if there was anything that I missed

- Moody because he was one of my favorites, though he was gruff and paranoid I knew that Harry had lost one of his best protectors/defenders

- Ron's departure; Poor Hermione

- The cemetary in Godric's Hollow

- Hermione's torture

- Dobby

- Snape

- Fred

- Harry's journey to Voldy in the forest and Hagrid's reaction to Harry's "death"

- Tonks, Lupin and Colin (was I the only one who was sad about Colin!?!?!?!)

and yeah I think that's it....

I don't get particularly emotional about real life situations but soaked a few hankies throughout DH. I started with Dudley finally acting decently to Harry after all those years. Next came Hedwig, for some reason the appearance of the doe patronus (I knew it was related to Lily and suspected it was Severus's), the bit where Ron says maybe Dumbledore left him the deluminator because he knew Ron would leave and Harry says maybe because he knew you'd want to come back. Another biggie was when Harry saw what Luna had painted in her room. The biggest impact of all was in Severus's memories when he shows Dumbledore his patronus. Ah, I'm tearing up already. Oh, and at the end when we learn Albus's middle name. Wahhhhhh!

I rarely cry for books and movies, but during 'The Forest Again' the tears were a-flowin'! cry.gif I felt like crawling up into a ball in the corner of my room during all three of the times I've read that part of DH so far. It just made me feel such raw sadness.

ok first and foremost..i weep if i saw/read sad movies/books..but personally, im not a crybaby. lac.gif

my most defining moment (in crying that is..):

Dobby's death..the burying and all those things (which i dont think i should mention here cos i dont wanna start wailing..)

Snape's death of course..

well..thats all the highlight that i can remember..and i think i cried during the battle. harry's struggle in accepting his death, when everyone thought harry was dead..oh..theres just so much to say here. im gonna have to stop.
