You need to play the disk on your computer. You need a software player like PowerDVD ord WinDVD and you have to install the Interactual Player to make it work. However, the sneak peak videos are also on YouTube ;)

To access the sneak peak for the Half Blood Prince movie you have to insert the second disk into your computer and run it. There should be a link on the main menu of the second disk which takes you to the official Harry Potter OoTP website where you can watch the preview.

The HBP sneak peak can also be viewed in the Leaky Video Galleries at this link, and a further sneak peak released on the official OoTP website can be viewed here. smile.gif

My apologies if this has ever been asked, but I only had time to read about half the old thread.

In the CoS movie, there's a scene at the beginning in Flourish & Blotts when Harry & co. are leaving the bookstore and run into Draco. Just before that, Draco is seen standing on a staircase reading a book. When he sees Harry coming, he rips a page out of the book he's reading, folds it in half, and stuffs it in his pocket. Do they ever explain why he did this? I didn't know if there was a deleted scene or anything that explained it at all. I've always thought it was a bit weird and out of character. draco.gif

Thanks!

I posted this on the casting discussion too, just hoping to see what people are thinking on these issues.

there are a few things that I have been reading that I would like to discuss with some of you and maybe get your opinion on them.

1. Casting - This has been a major, major point of contention amongst all of the forum users I have been reading. First off. I don't think it very strange that Clemence Poesy was not or has not been leaked to have been brought back for Fleur. I don't think I have read anything that has said "hey, Fluer is completely out". I think that we may still see Bill and Fleur. Clemence looked and still looks way too young to play the seventh year student that she played in GoF. So I think maybe Fleur could still make an appearance.

2. Leaks - So I have been reading about leaks and what not on the sets. Let me say first off that I do believe that leaks occur and happen all the time. But in the case of the leaked scenes for this movie. I am not so sure they are real. If they are that will be cool. But I just don't think so. Script-wise they don't read the same nor do they appear to be true screenwriting.

3. Production Quality - I agree with most of the people saying that the production of the cinematography and the special effects were less than impressive in OotP. I am happy to say that the Director of Photography in this movie is the same guy that did Across the Universe. So I think we are in for a surprise in this movie. Best quality DoP that we have seen since SS. I also see that we have some of the people from the recent mass exodus from LucasArt. That should make the effects a little better. David Yates is an incredible dramatic director and it is not his fault that the fight scenes and action are not up to par. Well, not entirely his fault. When you do not have a great DoP and Effects team it is not so easy to make a great action film. I think that Barron and the other Producers are taking a great step in the way they are going.

4. Now I don't know anything about this topic so I am laying out to hear what you have to say. Script to book comparison. I think this will be the closest so far. But, in saying that I do believe there will be some people who are massively disappointed. Your disappointment should lie in yourself though. I say that because the last five movies I have seen at midnight the night before the release. Everytime I go there are Potter fans waiting from about noon until showtime. They bring their books and they read the book that they are about to see. That is a mistake my friends. I am a fan of the books, I am also a fan of the movies. I say that because they are two TOTALLY different things. If Jo was writing the screenplays then, and only then would I bring the books to refresh my memory right before I see the movie.

Well that is all for now. Eager to see your replies.

i think a lot of people make that mistake..but i cant blame them for being obsessed with the books. Even so, i still think it didnt make any difference. i went to see GoF with my mind cleared from any attachment from the book (or so i thought..) and i actually loved it..but only at first. When i went to see it for the 3rd time, im beginning to see all the flaws in it and started disliking it..until now..so, it didnt make any difference i guess..if you dont like it..you dont like it.

Also with the films look at the areas they have added discreetly, have you noticed Ginny? ...

In OoTF When they are walking over the bridge and Hermione says to Harry, Cho could not keep here eyes off you and when harry breaks up the DA meeting at Chrismas there is that long look back, before they leave and Harry's Kiss.

Thanks!

I notice this every time I watch the movie too. Since there doesn't seem to be anything relevant to the page Draco rips out I think it's just meant to show his arrogance.
