With the fourth series of the new version of Doctor Who on the horizon it's time for a new thread.
The Runaway Bride, Donna Noble (played by well known comedine actress Catherine Tate), returns for a full set of adventures with The Doctor (one of the fandoms most loved minor HP characters David Tennant)
First here is a round up of all the trailers so far
Teasers of this years baddies.
The trailer shown after the Christmas Special.
The epic trailer that was shown exclusivly in UK Cinemas for 2 months.
A new trailer with elements of 'The Usual Suspects'. (Never seen the film myself so can't comment)

Looking good. It all kicks off Saturday 6:20pm BST.

Wow, WOw, WOW!!!

Nimbus XL, thanks for explaining about the hand! And those links are fabulous - I hadn't seen the new (Usual Suspects) trailer - squee!!!!

bobbblie, those episode titles are very intriguing - especially #6! I barely remember the Tom Baker episodes from when I was little...are we supposed to know that the Doctor had a daughter? I know David Tenant's mentioned that he had kids once (to Rose) but are we supposed to know that there was a daughter - and anything in particular about her??

"I love him. Not because he's beautiful or because he's rich! I'd much rather he weren't either one. It would even out the gap between us just a little bit - because he'd still be the most loving and unselfish and brilliant and decent person I've ever met. Of course I love him. How hard is that to understand?" ~Eclipse (4)

The Radio Times TV magazine has a comprehensive article this week about the new series - including hints about each episode ... which I'm not going to reveal here! biggrin.gif

From what I read, this season looks as if it's going to be absolutely brilliant - I can't wait for Saturday! woohoo.gif

Ohhh, thanks for the radiotimes tip, Narya! I'll keep an eye out for it! I'm so looking forward to the new series of DW! Even more than the finale of Torchwood!

By the way, I'm so happy right now! I managed to get tickets to go and see David Tennant in Hamlet! dance.gif I had finally accepted that I would not be able to go, until I found that there were still a few tickets left! I love going to the theatre in Stratford, it's always a really high standard. Plus, I've never seen Hamlet being performed and have been meaning to for ages! And David Tennant is just a wonderful, wonderful bonus! biggrin.gif

This series is looking to be awesome, I've a feeling that we'll see a return of Freema & well as Catherine Tate. The Second season of Torchwood has been outstandingly good with loads of brilliant character driven plotlines, with any luck they might link in again, it'd be nice to see Captain jack crossing into Dr Who again.
This may be our last Dr Who for a year or 2, with the hiatus anounced sad.gif but I'm still going to enjoy it loads

No news yet on when it is airing in Australia. We haven't seen the Christmas episode yet, that usually screens about July.

Re episode 6, in the first series, (about 1964, I think), the Doctor had a grand-daughter! It was a long time ago!
