And it's time to start a new thread to discuss what movies have we seen. The old thread is right here - feel free to refer to it or quote from it and enjoy your discussion here biggrin.gif

I've watched Love Actually for like the twentieth time. It just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy watching all those people who are in love. And the performances, I think, are just great. Doesn't hurt that we have Alan Rickman in it, too. tongue.gif

So, what movie have you seen today?

We watched Pan's Labyrinth last night. I'm sorry, but I really didn't like it all that much (and neither did my hubby-- for once, we actually agree, although he wasn't freaked out by it like I was). I understand that Ofelia wanted to escape and all and got the parallelism and everything but I couldn't get past the violence and gruesomeness of the movie. And, I thought that Pan dude was really creepy. eekout.gif

But from that moment on, Hermione Granger became their friend. There are some things you can't share without ending up liking each other, and knocking out a twelve-foot mountain troll is one of them.

THANK YOU PENS!!

We finished up watching Hotel Rwanda in my History class yesterday. It was a very good movie, but hard to watch because of the violence. I don't get affected by many movies, but because I was pretty ignorant about the genocide in Rwanda, this movie taught me a lot and made me really see how serious genocide is and was.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory The remake. Johnny Depp scares me in this.

"Seen anything yet?" Harry asked them after a quarter of an hour's quiet crystal gazing.
"Yeah, there's a burn on this table," Ron said, pointing.

This is one of my favorite movies ratty.gif I have the two-disc collectors edition DVD biggrin.gif

Anyhows I saw The Flintstones movie again. I still havent seen the sequel in Rock Vegas but I love this movie and how they adapted the classic cartoon into big screen format. In my opinion it worked really well & the movie is just fun anyways smile.gif The DVD has neat bonus features, too.
