hahahahaha. seriously.
They all have that quality that makes them soo loveable.
Frak with his laugh-so-hard-i-might-cry laugh.
John with his silly little jokes and remarks.
Sue with her hufflypuffly cuteness and innocence.
Melissa with her smart remarks and the usual inside joke bring up so that every PotterCast listener can share them.

I love PotterCast!!!!!!!!!!! happy.gif

I'll have to agree, cant exactly pick favorites. Even though I have yet to meet any of them in person, and even though Frak is new, I don't think it would be truly possible to pick a favorite PCer. Favorite episode, probably.

I can't really pick a favorite... They are all such great people.
Picking one also might seem unfair, for the others. I just love them all for their own individual characteristics.

I must agree with Weaslygirl.

I've edited the title of this topic to make it more of a discussion instead of a thread for people to only post who's their favorite host. Try to discuss memorable moments, maybe some cool or funny things they've said, and other reasons why you like them besides just listing who your favorites are.

Thanks everyone!

I've only started listening to Pottercast in the last few months - I was initially drawn in by the interview with Jo, but then I so loved the rapport between the (then) 3 hosts that I went back and listened to all of the episodes.

I really admire Melissa's dedication to the fandom, and can't wait to read her book. I have a tremendous amount of respect for her ability to remain impartial - her commentary on the trial, and also on the interview she did with the woman who's trying to get the HP books banned in Georgia demonstrated that you can be passionate about something and still be open-minded and view all sides of an argument.

Sue has to have the biggest heart of anyone I've ever met, read about, bumped into on the street, etc. To me she is defined by her compassion for others, and that's a wonderful quality. I love hearing her talk about her son, and would love to compare "mom" notes over coffee.

John has a great sense of humor, and appreciates the culinary perfection that is the burrito. He's usually the one who makes me laugh out loud, earning me odd looks from strangers.

I've really enjoyed the addition of Frak - he's a great counterpoint to John. I really like the voices he does, but I do have to take issue with his love of Chipotle. I'm not hating on Chipotle or anything, their salsa's not bad, but I think he needs to come to the south bay and give Taco Surf a try. Puts Chipotle to shame. I'm just sayin'.

I look forward to each episode!

Oh great! Now that the title has been edited to something that can be written about, I'll have to actually come up with a good answer to this one. tongue.gif

I admire:
Melissa for not only her dedication to the fandom, but also for her generosity. The one thing that sticks out was Ep 10

John, for his sense of humor, as it's a lot like mine. The obscurity at times is crazy, and I love the out-of-the-blue stuff.

Sue, her compassion for others is astounding to me. Her laugh will brighten my day, and some of the things she says melt me.

Frak, for bringing in a breath of fresh air. Not that the show needed it, but it does add to the show well. The range of talent is apparent as well.

This is only a bit of the whole, as I cannot remember everything from the past 148 shows.
