As we all now know, JKR is writing a Prequel to the Harry Potter books. 
It will be an 800 word story about James and his friend Sirius Black in their younger years. Any new information about the Marauders is going to be awesome but, what story had you hoped the prequel would tell? There are so many unexplained mysteries, backstories that we dont fully know, incomplete histories, unknown adventures ...
Or, if you had hoped and correctly guessed that the prequel would involve the Marauders, if JKR was to write another prequel card or expand on another storyline, what would you hope to see explained in more detail?
Let us know what you had hoped or still hope to know more about, and why 
Thanks to everyone who posted in the original prequel poll (before we knew what it would be about!) and whos ideas I've taken for this poll.

I would like to know more about Snape's early life. What were his parents like, how did they treat him, was he loved? I would love to know what made him tick. Why did he grow into such a miserable, mean spirited man who was also loyal and brave?

I had voted for a story about Lily and James' relationship, the way it started, something about their life as a family with little Harry...
However... more Sirius! Yay!

Great poll Moose  !!!
I voted for more back story on Dumbledore and Grindewald since it would be fascinating to me as a reader. I also voted for more details on the Potters. And I couldn't resist voting for the missing 24 hours. Those missing hours would be amazing to read. I would love to know what Hagrid did after he rescued Harry, where they went, what they did, and whether or not Dumbledore saw Harry before we see him for the fist time in PS/SS. There is a lot of mystery there than would captivate me as a reader!
I'm still excited though about the Marauders!!

I agree! Well done, but once again - so hard to pick!!
I voted for "The first war in general" because I think it would cover a lot of the other options. That said, I would love to see the story of Hogwarts - the founding of the school, the first classes, the breakdown of the friendships etc. And also more of the story of the Dumbledore family.

I would like to know more about James' parents. Sirius mentions them in OotP when he and Harry are looking at that old tapestry in Grimmauld Place. I would like to know what happened to them between the time Sirius ran away to live with them and the time Harry comes along. I presume they are dead, but how did they die? Were they casualties of the first war or did they die of natural causes?
