One of the reason's I love sulkyskrewt's art is that so many of the images are HYSTERICAL and make me really laugh, while others are drawn so beautifully. I think it's amazing that one person can have two different styles, and pull them off so well! They can make one image which is so rich and vibrant with color, and then in the next depict Snape in the perfect dark greens and shades of black. I can't say which of these styles I prefer, but I know that I love both!
While one of my favorite images doesn't capture sulkyskrewt's great use of both color and darkness, this image:
here in the galleries, captures both the serious, and a more humorous side of their art. Seeing Snape as Mona Lisa always puts a smile on my face!

I've just been browsing sulkyskrewt's gallery for the past hour - what an incredibly talented artist! I love her paintings. I can't stop looking at Carry Harry, one her darker pieces. Voldemort looks completely mental in it, as does Bellatrix. There's a nice symmetry to it. Very eye pleasing.
I also love her Danse Macabre piece. Very colorful and vibrant. It's nice to see all the ones that were lost together again.
And I would definitely agree with blue4t - sulkyskrewt is good with the humor. I can't stop giggling at Voldy getting his bedtime story. Hehehe
There's something very pleasing to the eye with the traditional art pieces, at least for me. I guess I would say I prefer them, but that's not to say I don't also enjoy digital art.

It is funny, ironic, sad and touching, all at the same time. It is that infinite and indescribable quality of joy and longing that sets both sulkyskrewt's art and Jo Rowling's writing apart from the rest. Simply amazing!
I am agreeing with both of you. It was beautiful to see all of the one's we've lost leaving happily [even if some had an unhappy face at the moment] in the afterlife. EXCEPT for Voldy of course, sitting there in the background.
