J.K's handwriting is a little hard to understand in places, but good all the same
Yes if only there were more...
A full prequel would be enough to satisfy my Harry Potters desires.
Find out the details about the previous reign of LV.
We can only wish though

QUOTE(Shard @ Jun 11 2008, 11:30 AM) So remind me again when James was supposed to Grow up?? What age was that?
Those two could have seriously killed someone if two cops can manage to really keep up and give chase to them.
They're really lucky those cops were incompetant and didn't draw their weapons when they went for their wands. *shakes head* Reckless is right. I think the only reason the police were able to keep up was because Sirius and James rode into a dead end and because, I believe, they were having a little fun with the muggle police. If they'd really wanted to get away they could have flown out of the alley. There was no danger of the police drawing weapons because British police don't routinely carry them, only special units, they didn't even see the wands as weapons but thought they were drumsticks.
QUOTE(aislingyngaio @ Jun 11 2008, 11:59 AM) They were about 17 three years before Harry's born (1977), since James and Lily were born in early 1960. Good thing they just came of age XD I'm guessing this took place in the summer hols between the Marauders' sixth and seventh year.
What I wanna know is, were those three men Death Eaters or what? And would the MoM have to modify the memories of the two policemen *cackles* I think the three men were definitely Death Eaters, they were clearly not on the same side as James and Sirius and needed to be resisted and, although Sirius was to say later that the world isn't made up of good people and Death Eaters (paraphrasing because I don't have my books here) I think that's the only reason for them to look so worried.
I don't think James and Sirius would have been in trouble for performing magic, although they were probably only just of age, because they were defending themselves against attack and we know from OoTP that that's allowed. I agree that the policemen may have had their memories modified, but it could have been Dumbledore rather than the MoM. Having said that who were the police going to tell? I can't imagine them going back to their station and reporting that they'd failed to apprehend two teenage boys on a motorbike, armed with a drumstick each, down a dead end alley and that by pointing the drumsticks had managed to upend their car to stop three men on broomsticks before using the motorbike to fly away. That would be a good way to get early retirement.
