Summer is nearly here in the northern hemisphere, so lets have a "friendly" Quidditch match. Tell us why you picked your choices towel.gif

I picked commentator because I wouldn't be any good at playing, but it would be fun to commentate. (ala Luna style) Or even commentate like the twins's friend Lee, being totally partial to my House team

I like the golden snitch, although the bludger looks like fun. If I wasn't a commentator, it would be fun to whack the bludger at the opposite team. I could get rid of a lot of aggressions that way.

The Holyhead Harpies sound like a fun team. If Ginny was on that team, it must be a good one.

As far as my House is concerned, it would have to be Hufflepuff. Whenever I take a quiz, that is where i end up, so even though I want to be in Gryffindor, why fight the inevitable.

Excellent poll JaneMarple9 thumbup.gif

I would love to play the Seeker position! It sounds so fun and liberating! Plus, I would love to be the one to decide the match! It helps that I really love Harry and that he and Ginny were such skillfull player!! And I would want to play for Gryffindor.

My favorite ball is the Golden Snitch; it is such a fascinating and mysteriously powerful little ball with wings wink.gif

I wouldn't want to be referee and disappear for months and months at a time; I would be scared that no one would look for me grin.gif and who knows where I would find myself.

Finally; the team I would like to play for is the Chudley Cannons because it was Ron's favorite team; and the bright orange uniforms would add some flair. I would love to play for the underdog!!

Above all other positions I'd play keeper without a doubt it'd be so much fun, so of course my fav ball is the quaffle. I'd play for Slytherin as that's the house I consider myself a part of and like Dumbledore I root for Puddlemere United so I'd play for them.

I'd definatley be a beater (i'm good at hitting things! biggrin.gif)and my feminist roots make me an automatic Holyhead Harpie! All Women, yeah!

I'm a Ravenclaw... duh! And I like Bludgers the best because they make the game interesting.

I would play chaser, as i'm good at throwing and i like to feel very much involved in the game, which a chaser is.
My favourite ball is the golden snitch, as it's just mesmerising and i love the speed and elegance of it.
The house team i would play for is Gryffindor, as they are loyal, brave, a strong knit group and thats my house.
I would like to play league for Chudley Cannons as hopefully i could lead them to victory.

I went for seeker, because it seems like so much fun, and I think I'd be quite good at spotting the snitch before the other seeker. I also went for the snitch... probably becuase I like the idea of the seeker catching it... also I like the idea that it has wings smile.gif

Yeah that's why I went for them too!

And my house I'd like to be Gryffindor... but I think in reality it'd be Hufflepuff.

I choose Chaser, Quaffle,Gryffindor, and Holyhead Harpies.
I choose chaser because of the reasons Ginny gave it's where the action is. Beater would be my second choice. Seeker is good but you really just sit there until you notice the tiny snitch, which i probably wouldn't see cause of my bad eyesight.
Since the quaffle is the ball the chaser uses most that would be my fav ball. Bludger would be fun but dangerous but it's interesting that it's unbaised (when not tampered with by Dobby). The snitch would be least fav since it's hardest to see.
I sort into Gryffindor so that's who I would play for, although playing for Ravenclaw would be more sport less drama.
And like the others girls rule and boys drool, so HOLYHEAD HARPIES for me.

I would like to be a Beater, it would very satisfying hitting bludgers at people, and I chose Ravenclaw because there's no replacing Fred and George. ;)
