COS, as the others in the series, has a lot of moments when we clenched our fist, bit our nails, gripped our seats, etc, etc.
- Which of the scenes were the scariest or most tense for you and why ?
- Which was the most scary for the character involved ?
- Who was the best in handling the situation inspite of the fear they would have felt ?
You may choose more than one option.

Wonderful poll rowena!
QUOTE Which of the scenes were the scariest or most tense for you and why ? For me, the scariest and most tense scene was when Harry first heard the Basilisk through the pipes. I was especially concerned when I heard the words "rip" and "kill". Since this scene is relatively early, I didn't know it's significance and I was especially intrigued that Harry was the only one who could hear the voice.
QUOTE Which was the most scary for the character involved ? For Ron, the scene with the giant spiders had to be horrible; and I too find spiders icky, for a lack of a more intelligent word For Harry, the scariest scene was probably when he realized who Tom Riddle was and being attacked by the Basilisk. And Hermione, bless her, I can't imagine what she went through when she found out what was hiding in the pipes and walking around with the mirror in her hand just moments before becoming petrified
QUOTE Who was the best in handling the situation in spite of the fear they would have felt ? I think Harry best handled the situations he was faced with in spite of his fear. Ron was a bit more panicky; but he handled things well too.

Great poll, rowena!
The scariest scene for me was the Basilisk attacking Harry.
For Ron, it was a tie between the spiders in the forest and hearing that Ginny had been taken into the chamber.
For Hermione, it was turning into a half-cat (she didn't know if it could be reversed. But, we could add when she discovered that it was a Basilisk that was the monster.
For Harry, it was a tie also between finding Ginny's body and being poisoned by the Basilisk.

Which of the scenes were the scariest or most tense for you and why? I voted Harry being poisened by the basilisk and the basilish coming after Harry on Tom Riddle's orders. I thought the whole baskilisk scene was scary, my heart was beating a lot. Which was the most scary for the character involved ? Harry because a basilisk was coming after him, and because he got poisened, which must have hurt. Also because it must have been scary seeing Ginny lying there in the Chamber. It also must have been scary for Ron, after all, his sister was probably going to be killed. I think it was probably VERYYYY scary for Ginny- being possesed by Riddle, and being dragged down into the Chamber itself, only to wake later seeing a baslisk in front of you! Who was the best in handling the situation inspite of the fear they would have felt ? Harry, definitley. He just tryed to stay calm, and he used the Sorting Hat and sword as best as he could.
