You know you're a big hp fan when you braved seeing CoS in the movies when it first came out for your 12th birthday, even though you don't like Spiders and not too keen on Snakes. I was rather proud of myself. (er, did that make sense, i said 'you' then switched to 'I'?)

You know you're a Big HP fan when you've basically memorized all of the existing spells, hexes, jinxes,a nd charms that have ever been created
and are wishing that they could actually work in real life. ponder.gif

When you're mourning over the fact that you have band camp the entire day on Harry/Jo's birthday, therefore, you won't be able to celebrate it as much as you'd like to. And then you decide that you'll make cauldron cakes and bring them to band camp.

When you're tempted to buy a HP book when you see them stacked in a bookstore eventhough you have them already...

When you are making a card for your friend, and your dad says "When you get on the computer I have to show you something" and that is weird for him because he NEVER goes on the computer. So you ask him what it is about and he says "JK Rowling" and you freak out and jump up, and then he says it is "something sad". So you run right to the computer go onto the internet, and you are jumping up and down almost tearing up a bit. Then he says "it's about her mom", and you stop and get all silent, and then turn to him and say "Well I already know that, she has MS". Turns out he just didn't think that I knew the Jo's mom had MS (he has MS so he thought it would be cool to show me). How could he doubt my Jo knowledge. tongue.gif

But you look on the internet anyway and end up reading about Jo and her mom's MS for like 15 minutes, just because it is something about Jo.

When your family is always trying to ask you Harry Potter questions, and see if they can find ones that you can't answer, but they never succeed.

When you are making 2 birthday cakes on July 31st, one for Harry and one for Jo!

When you are thinking about throwing a party for them!

When you organise your book shelf so that the HP books are at eye level.

When your copies of the HP books take up more than one shelf!
