''What's that?'' said Ron, pointing at a large dish of some sort of shellfish stew that stood beside a large steak-and-kidney pudding.
''Bouillabaisse,'' said Hermione.
''Bless you,'' said Ron.

Personally I am for it. I know lots of gay people and would be happy to see them married. I also know some people who are think that gay marriage is wrong but support it amongst others.

Unfortunately the majority of people I know speak openly about the sins of gay marriage directly in front of gay people.

I too think its absolutely fine. If two people are in love, why should they not marry? Amongst my friends, there's no-one who would be against it. Whatever makes you happy in life, so long as it doesn't hurt anyone else. And how can two people promising to love and support each other through life be wrong? So yes, I'm all for it smile.gif

i'm all for showing you love someone in a public and binding way. Marriage is great whether you're gay, strait, bi, animal, mineral... It don't matter. At the end of the day any excuse for a party! ponder.gif but we must remember- the world don't beat to the sound of just one drum, what might be right for you might not be right for some. Its all about respect for others beliefs. Yo.

Just for the record:

I (female 32) am myself happily married to another woman for 4 years now. We have got 2 awesome kids and our third baby will be born in October....

For us and especially for the kids it is important to be able to show to the outside world that we do belong together. We are family, just like anybody else..... No need to hide anything!

All said I guess!

I don;t mind about gay marraige, i think people over exaggerate things, if two people are in love they should be able to get married, and thier marraige would probably last longer then then a boy and girl couple as they know they are truley comforable with each other :-)

Like my quote says, Love IS magic!!

I don't see why people should disagree with gay marriages or why they should be seen as any different from any other marriage. The important thing is that two people love one another.

i might have the wrong end of the stick here but are you suggesting a gay marriage world last longer than a strait one? Because thats just nonsence! I really don't see how your orientation would have any bearing on your ability to love and have a comitted relationship.
