No one can deny that POA was filled with moments that made one grip the edge of our seats. The Dementors alone are enough for that, not to mention an extremely menacing Sirius; but there were plenty of other junctures where we could almost have shrieked out in tension.
Which was the one you found most tense or scary ?
And why ?

I voted for all of the scenes which involved a dementor. The scene on the train was disturbing, especially since Harry could hear a woman screaming. The train stopping and going cold was pretty scary, as it is clear that some thing involving dark magic must be causing this. Harry's fall from his broom during the Quidditch match, because of the dementors was scary too--Harry nearly was killed. The scariest episode that involved dementors though, was when the dementors attacked Sirius, Harry, and Hermione.Brrrrrr! I need chocolate just thinking about it!

For me, the scariest feeling was when everyone was coming back to Hogwarts from the Shrieking shack. Honestly, I knew something was going to happen because Harry was too happy at the prospect at going to live with Sirius and something told me it wasn't going to stay that way.
Remus turning into a werewolf was extremely frightening. The very idea of a person who was so kind and loving turning into a total monster is so scary ! It's as if the person you knew is no longer there, not only that, in his place is a beast that doesn't know you and would kill you as soon as look at you. Greyback doesn't evoke the kind of fear Remus does because he's the same whether transformed or not. It's the contrast between Remus and the werewolf he turns into that's so frightening. *Brrrr*
