Personally, I found their "delay" with relationship to be endearing, extending their period of innocence and wonder. I feel like it made them (Harry and Ron) even more unlikley heroes since they weren't trying to be something/someone they're not to impress others (well, most of the time ). They were truly acting out of their own innate bravery, loyalty, innocence, and love.

i think bc they were too uncomfortable around girls to get in relationships before that. and they were too busy fighting LV to think about it, too. and maby its just me, but as thick as harry and ron were about girls, they werent going to have a relationship with someone they didnt feel attracted to. especially harry. and yeah maby ron dated lav lav just for the snogging but there was physical attraction involved i guess. and after a while he got tired of it and waited for his true love to take the initiative
ps. RubyRose, i love your siggy! made me LOL.
