Just found this little story online from MSN - not too sure of the truth of it

Daniel Radcliffe has revealed he will appear naked in the next Harry Potter film, 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'.


(BANG) -

Daniel Radcliffe has revealed he will appear naked in the next Harry Potter film.

The actor - who has starred as the teen wizard in five movies in the franchise based on the books by J.K. Rowling - admits he was unsure when he was told he would be appearing without trousers in a scene in 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'.

He said: "At first I thought I had pants on. Apparently not!"

However, Daniel - who has stripped off in the stage production of 'Equus' - insists he isn't worried about his fans seeing him nude on screen, adding: "It's all old hat now, really!"


I'm guessing this would be when he retrieves the Gryffindor sword from the pond.

Uh-kay so... I always envisioned him wearing boxers in that part but it could also be briefly for the seven potters transforamtion changing clothes. I recall Harry saying that the others did little to preserve his modesty tongue.gif

But realistically I can't see WB having it. Despite the dark elements and themes in the stories they still target a younger audience and parents aren't going to stand for Harry Potter getting his kit off on the silver screen lac.gif

I'm sure it will be one of these two scenes, or perhaps a comedic scene at the burrow between Harry and Ginny similar to the Ron in bed when Hermione walks in scene for Goblet of Fire (?)

What ever the nature, I'm quite sure it will be quite inocent - no full frontals or bum cheeks! tongue.gif

It's a quote from the article in Entertainment Weekly. He's speaking to the scene at Kings Cross right after his encounter with Voldy in the forest.... remember he's naked before he wishes for robes and then talks to DD....???

So its still going to be a fairly light hearted moment after the Trauma of watching him walk into the forest.

I'm begining to wonder if Dan has a clause in all his contracts that he must appear naked at some point... devil.gif

It makes sense that he would be naked jumping into a frigid pond to retrieve the sword. At least he would have some dry clothes to get into but that's not canon right? If he's naked in the King's Cross scene I imagine lots of swirly white mist that will mostly obscure anything too "Eguusy". tongue.gif

You may have a point there Copper. If the film is sticking to canon then King's Cross it is then. Swirling mist and shafts of dazzling white/golden light should do it. I still think it would have been much more logical for Harry to have left all his clothing on the shore before plunging into the frigid water.

The only time he is actually naked in the book is kings cross, so it must be that scene, honestly I'm surprised they even kept that! it wasn't really important, but I guess they really stick to the book now!

Harry wasn't naked in 7 potter or while getting the sword, It said in the 7 potters that he wished they showed some modesty (or something like that) but I doubt he was downright naked! and I see no point in making him naked

And while getting the sword he didn't take of his boxers, and I don't see them changing that to him beeing naked, I mean would they undress him completly after we find out some guy(Snape it turns out) is out there somewhere watching? And it would be a bit awekward when Ron gets him... (though shippers will be thrilled tongue.gif )

It must be kings cross... I wonder if they'll really keep it in the movie though...

And for those who says parents won't be thrilled.. I doubt it will be full frontal nekkidness, I think they'll be more concerned with all the killing, torturing etc... a naked bum will be the least of their concern... wink.gif
