CoS and 2nd Task, Comparison between CoS and task number 2 in SS/PS

I read somewhere that JKR had written each book in comparison with the corresponding task in the PS/SS. If that's correct I am wondering what connections there are between CoS and Proff. Sprout's Devil's Snare. I am completly at a loss here and could not come up with a single commonality between the two. So someone with an abstract line of thought please help me out with this one.
