I think you guys might be disappointed. Remember the conversation Harry and Dumbledore had about Percy and Harry wondered why Percy didn't come back after it turned out to be true that LV was back? And Dumbledore said some people find it harder to forgive when they are wrong than when they are right. Could be the same for Draco. How about Theodore Nott if we have to have a seventh from Sytherin, he is smart and a loner and doesn't listen to Draco.

Oh I'm fine with any other Slytherin, especially Knott smile.gif

I was just thinking that Harry and Co know Draco and what Draco is capable of alot more then Knott. I'm also fine with an Hufflpuff joining in. I feel that so far Harry has been missing certain elements to form the team he needs to destroy the Horcruxes, he needs a united Houses front to be represented by certain individuals. We have a Ravenclaw with Luna, now we just need a Hufflepuff and/or Slytherin.

Note when I say that Draco may join Harry doesn't mean I think that they will be friends or that Draco will get over his predjudices.

Hey Shard! I'm quite positive we did have this conversation before....but on this WONDEROUS day, it's fun to hatch it out again.

I don't think it'll be a Hufflepuff, because even before we had the new six, Harry did find himself working with a Hufflepuff to go forth in his journey. But that one is dead, making room for a new seventh in a new house.

I think it's Draco because JKR wrote to show his vulnerabilities, to show it's possible that he could be good. COULD be good. I also find his wand and that connection to The Fisher King to be interesting. I think Draco will have a part to play in locating ONE of the horcruxes, as I think he's seen one before but didn't know it was one.

But unlike the men on the quest for the grail, we have to hope Harry thinks to ask Draco if he comes across him again!

Oh yes EW I quite agree that HBP showed us the vulnarble and human Draco. Which is why I am forced to admit that he may be redeemable, as much as I love to hate the guy lol. I think Harry needs to learn acceptance and trusting Draco may be a part of that completness that he needs to defeat LV.
