 ALOHA FROM LAKE HOGWARTSAhoy there! You are invited to our first LEAKY LUAU! Get ready to kick off summer in style as we throw a fun beach party here on the shores of Black Lake at Hogwarts- Potter style. There will be plenty of fun, food, and frolicking as we have a whole day of festive activities planned with all the great staff here, but do watch out for that rogue pirate Peeves! There will be beach-blanket bingo (say that three times fast), a filk writing competition, water sports in our Pool and lake, dueling over in our Chamber of Chat (wands/swords at the ready!), the Corner Booth will be serving up day long text chat banter, and last but not least, there will be lots o' grog, butterbeer, and plenty of food at the special buffet. Then me mateys, dig out that compass, as we set forth on a spirited adventure for our own HORCRUX HUNT in a way that Voldemort never anticipated! When: Saturday, June 17 High Noon (ET) Where: www.leakylounge.com Who: EVERYONE Dress: beach attire encouraged; pirate lingo permitted So dig out those flip flops, put on those wacky hats and brightly colored clothes, and join your fellow Potter Pirates for a day of magical fun! Schedule is as follows:
Noon: Argg ye mateys- The Luau begins Tiki Hut: Open Noon till 9 for all your refreshment needs Chamber of Chat: Noon till 8 Dueling/Pirate talk in Dark Forest, special pirate name thread in CoC forum Filk Writing: Lounge Lizard thread runs from Noon till 5- Poll up shortly thereafter; Winners announced at 8pm CrustysCorner Booth: 2pm till 8:00 for text chattin' Surfing with Squiddy : Water Sports and swimming from 1pm till 8pm There will be a few water races for those nimble minded pirates Horcrux Hunt: Starts at 3pm runs till four Discuss the hunt in the CoC and Corner booth all day long Grand Finale: 8pm! Boom! Thanks for the fun ! GREAT NEWS EVERYONE! We now have a winner for the Horcrux Hunt!! Congratulations go to Val Halla! who narrowly beat out our second place winner Airen!
