Well done, Carissa P.! thumbup.gif I really enjoyed the synopsis of the characters' Patronuses and Animagi and it made me think!

I found Ron's patronus as a terrier to be very revealing to a part of his personality. Were terriers originally bred to "ferret" out certain types of animals used in a hunt (foxes wink.gif in particular)? Perhaps Ron's role as the Goal Keeper - or "protector", of the Gryffindor Quidditch Team, against wily and foxy opponents affected his form of patronus at that time in his life?

I really liked your essay! smile.gif

I really liked this essay, it was very well thought-out. My only complaint is that I think you're mixing up otters and beavers...beavers are known for having prominent front teeth, not otters, because beavers use their teeth to cut down trees for their dams. So you might want to edit that part out of your essay as it does not advance your point at all and is factually incorrect.

What a good essay! Except for the small mishap of the teeth (Hobbes pointed it out previously) it's very factual, though also with some hints of your amusement over the very subject. It's to me felt, that you had a blast while exploring the differences and equalities in between Patronus, animagi and person.

i sat down today with the intention of writing an essay about the link between patronuses and animagi i spent two hours on it and then came on here to check if anyone had already done one i found this and i have to say it is a lot better than mine well done. the only point i could offer you is do you think Dumbledore is an animagi as he used to be a transfiguration teacher and he is the greatest wizard of all time it just would seem obvious that he would be one and if he is one what animal do you think he would be, i think he would be a phoenix :)
