No, the director for HBP hasn't been announced. No, not all the kids have been "officially" signed on. No, it hasn't started filming yet.
But - there *has* been a release date for HBP announced, and if Warner Bros. is starting to think about the HBP film, I'm thinking we should too. HBP is a long, vivid book with literally hundreds of images, and as the film draws nearer (perhaps when it is less than a year and a half away Perhaps you can't wait to see the Gaunts - aka the least hygenic family Harry has ever had the misfortune to stumble across. For discussion as to who would perfect to bring the image in your head of Merope, Morfin, and Marvolo (nice alliteration on Jo's part, eh?), you can check out this thread in the Argent Scrim's forum. Slughorn is described as looking a little like a walrus, with a shiny head and a silvery mustache - certainly *my* dream guy. Then, of course, there's the battle atop the Lightening-Struck Tower. The infamous battle - the climax to book seven, and perhaps one of the most talked about/beaten to death with a wet noodle scenes in the entire series, and come Movie 6, we'll get to see it played out in front of us. There are many more images that will be in Movie 6 (obviously - it's a 600 + pg. book!) but these are the highlights! If there's something else you can't wait for, be sure to vote for 'other' and tell us what it is! If you like chatting about this, you'll probably also enjoy another little treat Argent Scrim's has right here that discusses the HBP movie in general - so be sure and check that out!
