Songbird, we'll go ahead and allow changes as long as they're in before the deadline. Please put your header as "Riddle # Answer Correction." You guys get ONE correction per riddle. So make sure it's correct! We'll be generous in this area. smile.gif Just no cheating!

lizziebennett, I have a pretty extensive excel document going on tracking everything. Once I find the time, I'll go ahead and post those numbers thus far. Might be a few days, though. I'll post letting everyone know when those numbers are up.

Only a few more riddles left everyone!

You make that sound like you want the contest over with, songbird! tongue.gif

I've posted the percentage of people who answered each riddle correctly. You can view those percentages within the post of the same riddle (right below who wrote the riddle). Please remember that these percentages are based on the number of people who sent in answers for each riddle. The amount of answers sent in for each riddle varies quite a bit, but at least it'll give you all a general idea. smile.gif

Sorry! It's not so much I want the contest over with...I'm just impatient to read the other riddles and know whether or not I am right about them! I'm too curious for my own good!

And thanks for posting percentages! I'll go look right now!

I've posted the last 3 percentages of people who got the riddles correct. If you're interested, you can find the percentages after each riddle.

Four people got all 10 riddles correct and their names, along with the people who wrote each riddle, will be entered into a drawing for one of the three Wizard Wood Wands.

I'll post again when the winners have been picked for the wands. (Winners will be notified before June 10th.) If you care to leave any suggestions/comments about the Riddles Contest, you can e-mail us (contests@the-leaky-cauldron.org) or post here in this thread. All suggestions/comments will be taken into consideration for, perhaps, another Riddles Contest next year. smile.gif

Thanks everyone for participating!

Is it the same four people as last time? tongue.gif (if I remember correctly, 4 people got all 10 correct the last time, too.)

Will their names be posted even if they didn't win a wand?

It's been such fun, I'm sad the contest is over. I did not enter under this name but my real one, and I think I got them all correct!

Thank you to everyone who participated! The response for this contest was once again amazing and we had fun with it and it looked like you all had fun with it too.

Without further ado, I'd like to announce the winners of the 3 custom made Wizard Wood Wands.

Their names were placed into a raffle for one of three wands based on whether we used one of their riddles in Part 2 and/or whether they answered all 10 riddles correctly in Part 2.

Four people this year (oddly the same amount as last year) answered all 10 riddles correctly. I'd like to recognize those people this year.

For those who haven't checked, the answers, authors, and percent of people who got the answer correct are posted in the same posts as the riddle in this thread.

With the conclusion of this contest and how many people did this contest again, there's a pretty strong chance this will become a yearly contest for us. So, with that said, we really would appreciate any critiques, feedback, comments, etc on what you liked or didn't like about this contest. Last year we did a survey, but this year you can either PM one of us, e-mail us (contests@the-leaky-cauldron.org) or simply post here.

On a final (and hopefully fun) note, we'd like to invite everyone who submitted riddles for Part 1 to post them if we didn't use them. We had a number of good riddles we liked, but we couldn't use them all! The thread with the original 10 riddles in it has been unlocked and you can post them there. Please put spoiler tags (see below) around your answer so people don't accidentally read the answer when they don't want to.

Again, we thank everyone for participating and hope to see everyone participate again next year!

-------

Spoiler tags look like this: You can't see me! You simply highlight the black area to read what's underneath it.
