JKR Has A New Daughter! Congratulations to J.K. Rowling & family - yesterday, she delivered a baby girl. According to CBBC Newsround, mother and child are doing well. The name will be announced shortly on JKRowling.com, both articles report. We at Leaky send our best wishes to Jo and her family. Congratulations! January 25, 2005 And the baby's name is... Mackenzie Jean Rowling Murray, as announced on jkrowling.com this morning. JKR's post makes it sound like she came a few days early, and she noted that she hopes to make a few other updates on the site between baby feeds and sleeping over the next few days. Welcome to the world, baby Mackenzie! -------------------- 12/18/07: VICTORY FOR MY QUEEN HELGA HUFFLEPUFF

*huggles Jo*
Mackenzie is such a beautiful name! (although this means that I lost my bet that you'd name her Sarah...) I hope you know that you've got a world full of very eager babysitters should you and Neil need night out (though I'd have to find a way to get myself to Scotland...) -------------------- "Norway is not the capital of Sweden" - Sondre Lerche

I like the name except for the fact it brings up memories of that annoying little girl from 7th Heaven.

QUOTE(malcolm1980 @ Jan. 30 2005,9:40) I like the name except for the fact it brings up memories of that annoying little girl from 7th Heaven. Same here, same here ... but by admitting this, I'm also admitting that I have watched this show in the past, so we'll just let this slide under the rug. *ahem* Congrats, Jo, for receiving a healthy bundle of hel-- ... joy. And with this, you've been able to achieve your dream of having three children! I hope you're doing well, because it's sure going to be busier in your house now! -------------------- 'Man can now fly in the air like a bird, swim under the ocean like a fish, and burrow into the ground like a mole.
