Welcome everyone to the Leaky Lounge's New Year and Birthday Ball event! We hope you're having a great time already, and we're looking forward to a great weekend of fun. The Lily and Stag Reading Groups staff has helped greatly with the setting up of this event, which is a new turn on their traditional Yule Ball event that we hold in mid-winter.

One of the best bits of fun that we like to have at these events is our scavenger hunt. This time, though, we've given it a bit of a twist. Not only might you find things here on the Lounge, but we're also placing them all over the main site too! We'll be holding two different hunts, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Both hunts will last from 9am to 3pm Eastern time, and the clues will be placed in this forum, in a new thread for each one. Show up early to get a good seat!

We also have other fun and games for everyone at this wonderful event. Here are some of the treats we have in store for you:

--> The biggest thing is the re-opening of our Shrieking Shack arcade, which has TONS of new games for everyone to check out! My personal favorites are Bug Buster and Tower Blaster!

--> Dumbledore invites you to pull up a chair and have a bottle of butterbeer while you chat with your Leaky friends
