This thread is for anyone who is looking for a beta reader or for those who would like to volunteer to be a beta reader for someone else.
To clarify: Wikipedia defines a beta reader as: QUOTE(Wikipedia) A beta reader (or betareader, or beta) is a person who reads a work of fiction with a critical eye, with the aim of improving grammar, spelling, characterization, and general style of a story prior to its release to the general public. Please use this thread to set up networking for your writing and then use the PM system to further develop your ideas. Good luck! -------------------- |

I too would like to volunteer my services as a beta for whoever wants one - particularly if it's a funny fanfic! I'd like to get some experience as a reader before I consider writing my own fic! PM me if you're looking for a beta

I don't need someone right now. But I will eventually. Although I'd prefer an adult, and one who doesn't mind mature content. This is because there will strong sexual themes. Not necessarily any graphic encounters, but it does play a major part in the piece I'm beginning to construct.
I may also need someone familiar with old English. I'm not entirely decided yet, but I'm leaning towards writing it in very old fashion text. The story takes place back in biblical times. So it's way back. But it has nothing whatsoever to do with a Bible. I'm just trying to draw a reference time. -------------------- |

I will happily beta anything anyone wants me to beta. I currently have a lot of free time on my hands and I have a bachelor's degree in English, if that helps.
