Hello Professor. I have been here at the Lounge for almost exactly a year, in 8 days I will celebrate a year as a LL member. A few months after joining I was tricked, I mean invited to join the staff and am now a part of the wonderful and loving crew of folks who work the rooms in The Lily and Stag, this time around the Tea Leaf Tavern room. I love it here and NEVER want to leave!!!! When I am not here I am a mom and get very busy with my 3 great kids.

Well, I am rather a newbie here, having joined leakylounge in May 2008, so this will be my first New Year's celebration with LL! In fact, I believe the previous poster, wendybird3 was a member of my first reading group. I am going to craftily use--err, quote her words as they refer to joining the Lily and Stag staff:

 Professor! how lovely to see you here! hello everyone!  first of all, Happy Birthday, Leaky Lounge! woot, already on your 4th year, huh? may you have many more! cheers for Leaky! well i have been a proud member of the Lounge since June '07, but had been lurking around TLC and the forums for a bit. then my need to post and participate got the best of me, and i had to join! i have to say, probably one of the best things i have ever done.. can't imagine how i would spend my free time, or where else i would meet such great people and a place to talk with fellow Potterholics about the most varied topics. many thanks to the Leaky Staff, who make this all possible of course! oh yea let me just wish a great 2009 to everyone and also a Happy Birthday to all fellow members who share their bday with Leaky! how awesome is that! -------------------- |

hi every one. i am one of the biggest harry potter fans around. any excuse to wear my hufflepuff uniform. i am just having a new cloak made with real gold buttons. i had a great new year eve at work, drinking butter beer and eating mince pies to bring in the new year. i was going to go to a castle for sectus 2009 this year but it was cancelled. shearing have got a sale for a holiday there for 9th march. will get time off work to go and wear my uniform there all the time.

Happy birthday Leaky.
 I joined Leaky in May, 2006. Like most of the above posters I lurked for the longest time. I became more active when the Deathly Hallows RG started and recently joined the Lily and Stag RG staff. For everything Harry Potter, this is definitely the place to be. If you are lurking out there and not quite sure about us, jump in and have some fun. We are a great group here at Leaky. Just watch out for Peeves and the mysterious person vandalizing our party. And Draco Malfoy, a word to the wise. If that is not your handwriting, you are probably involved in some way.
