Book 7, Snape's memories: on seeing Severus' patronus Dumbledore asks "Still, Severus?" to which Severus replies "Always." (somebody hand me a tissue.)

Are you worried about You-Know-Who?
You should worry about You-No-Poo!
The constipation sensation,
that's gripping the nation!

We all remember that famous WWW poster. What line echoes around in your head? It can be as simple as "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." Or it can be Peeve's victory song at the end of DH. You have one. You know you do! Put it right here.

"I love you, Hermione," said Ron, sinking back in his chair, rubbing his eyes wearily.
Hermione turned faintly pink, but merely said, "Don't let Lavender hear you saying that."

What was your favourite sentece of the books made by dumbledore, harry, hermione ...whatever

mine are
PS - "For a well-structured mind, death is just the next great adventure"
CoS - "It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our qualities"
PoA - "he consequences of our actions are always so complex, so diverse, that predicting the future is a really difficult task ... "
GoF - "If you want to know how a man is watch how he treats a lower being
,and not hes equal."
OoP-"There is no shame in what you are feeling, Harry. On the contrary ... the fact of being able to feel pain with such intensity is your greatest strength ..."
HBP - "It is the unknown we fear when we look at death and darkness, nothing more. "
DH - "The difference is in being dragged to the arena to die, or go head-on"

Most of my fave quotes are from Fred and George ^_^

Mrs Weasley: "You're a prefect? Oh Ronnie! That's everyone in the family!"
George: "What are Fred and I? Next door neighbours?"

'You haven't got a letter on yours,' George observed, 'I suppose she thinks you don't forget your name. But we're not stupid – we know
we're called Gred and Forge.'

'Don't, Ginny, we'll send you loads of owls.'
'We'll send you a Hogwarts toilet seat.'
'George!'

"Make way for the heir of Slytherin, seriously evil wizard coming through..."

And Dumbledore's words of wisdom...

"I would assume that you were going to offer me refreshment, but the evidence so far suggests that that would be optimistic to the point of foolishness."

"Oh, you know about Nicolas?" said Dumbledore, sounding quite delighted. "You did do the thing properly, didn't you?"

“Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?”

QUOTE(sallene @ Jan 14 2006, 12:44 AM) *
QUOTE

I am not worried, Harry," said Dumbledore, his voice a little stronger despite the freezing water. "I am with you."

This is the only quote from the book that still stands out in my mind. When I read it, I think my emotional response went off the scale. It just showed me how far Harry had come and how much trust Dumbledore had in him.

vrey true..
it was so touching....

Dumbledore: We must choose between doing what is right, and doing what is easy

For me that sums it up nicely - you can use that line as a test for evey discussion you make, and every action you choose to take

For the record, my ultimate one:

" It is our choices, Harry, that show us who we really are, far more than our ability."

Along with "It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends."

The passage about the pictures on Luna's ceiling was one of the only times I've ever got overly-emotional reading a book: just goes to show how much friends are valued.

That part was indeed, heartwrenching. Severus loved Lily so much. awww. cry.gif

The 'always' quote... I need a hanky... is one of the most unforgettable tear-jerking/jaw-dropping/aww-line in the series, if not, in the book.

Fred and George's lines, I can't enumerate all of them because it'll take me a day to do so. Here are some:
1. 'What are George and I, next door neighbors?'
2. "It's because of you, Perce, and there'll be
little flags on the hoods, with HB on them"
"--for Humongous Bighead,"
3. 'There are still people 50 miles away who didn't hear you.' -It's not exact, but you remember. I hope. smile.gif
4. Their Potterwatch lines!!

Book 7: Dumbledore: Of course it's all happening in your head Harry, but why on earth should that mean it's not real?
Book 1: My sig says it all: It takes a great deal of courage to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends.
Book 6: I am not worried Harry, I am with you.

And Finally, Ron ended my post with his impersonation of Goyle... or Crabbe, I don't remember. 'I. Must. Not. Look. Like. A. Baboon's. Backside.' lmao. lol.gif
