The United States cover of Chamber of Secrets is one of my personal favorites, not for it's front, but for it's back! As seen in our galleries my favorite character, Ginny Weasley, makes an appearance on the back cover!

While it is common for most covers to feature the same art as the US, or UK covers, there are two covers which are originals, yet still happen to be very similar. Both the Italian and Portuguese covers feature Harry riding a Diary, as seen here:
and
Feel free to check out the other book covers here in our galleries.

Now one can not discuss the Chamber of Secrets and not discuss Professor Lockhart! This charming wizard, and winner of most charming smile, makes an appearance in Mary GrandPre's chapter art.

Looking to spread some love like Gilderoy? Perhaps you can employ this little cherub!

You can check out more of the chapter art from this book in our galleries here.

What are some of your favorite images from this book? Feel free to discuss!

I love the flying car on the British edition, I think it is a wonderful piece of work. I haven't seen Mary Grande Pre's chapter art in the American, though smile.gif

Dumbledore uses a night-light. Not because Dumbledore is afraid of the dark, but because the dark is afraid of Dumbledore.

I really love the creativity that many of the International HP publishers encourage for their editions' cover art. Some that are unique and rather amusing are those from Finland --

This version of Gilderoy Lockhart just cracks me up every time I see it! lol.gif
