I coach a "friday sport" netball team at my school and all the girls are my age or a little younger. None of them like me much.
Do you think it is okay for me to buy them cookies every friday?

of course, some of my friends became my friends because i bought them a cookie or i helped them with a math problem... you could find some of these might become your friends

of course you can. Bribery is not always bad, and in cases like these and it can be use to sort of break the ice, if you will. You are trying to show them that you can be a nice person, and doing through cookies instead of words or actions.

see it is ok as long as you don't over use it. Like paying people with money now giving gifts not that bad.

i agree with LunaLovesee,

you can, just make sure that they aren't only your friends because of it. i mean, if they take advantage of you and your generosity, then you know it isnt going to work out.

Personally I may do it one or twice a month but not every day because that may make them expect only that from you and their friendship would be limited to whether you have cookies or not. Those would not be real friendships.

Make it on special occasions. Like birthdays, Christmas, Easter, etc
