I wub.gif LittleBritain. All of the sketches are so funny. The duo are really the Python of our comedy generation. They have such skills that i have rarely seen from a comedy TV show since Flying Circus. And now theyre on a live tour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was suposesd to go and see the Little Britain live tour last month, but unfortunately Matt Lucas was ill, so it was cancelled. But now ive got a refund and have brought tickets for this tuesday instead, so ill post my review here when ive seen it.

Does anyone else like LB, and if so have you seen them live? If so put any info about your expereinces here, or just talk about the TV show here as well.

So, to get this show on the road in true LB style, Ill use one of Tom Bakers great starter quotes

[tom baker voice] Britain, Britain, Britain. We've had running water for over a week, and we invented the cat! [/tom baker voice]

I LOVE Little Britain. I was actually going to go the show to but it would fall around the time of my exams, (stupid A levels). Got series 1 and 2 on DVD and I love them!

I think its finished now though. The last series seemed sort of final. sad.gif

Hopefully not anyway!

Andy

Well, the tabloids said it was over, but something tells me its not. I think they will have to get rid of some of the original sketches (Daffyd and Emily howard for example) coz the jokes are wearing thin, but i dont think its over completely. Well i hope not anyway!

This has to be the best show on television. Here in the States, season 3 has begun. Tonight is episode 2 of season 3. I hope they continue with more season.

Bitty.

Season3 was great yeah, but some of the jokes were getting old, and some of the new jokes were just inappropriate..... *spoil* the pissing lady for example */spoil*Still though, on the whole it was a very good series.

I love this show - my favourite is the bit where Anthony Stewart Head (the PM) kisses his aide. A close second is the bitty sketches - disturbing.

I thought Series Three wasn't as good as the otheres, seemed to be running out of steam a bit, but i still love the show. my favourite character is Marjorie Dawes, the fat fighters one and i think vicki pollards great as well. I have seen so many girls like her!

Ok guys, here is the LB Live review u promised.

The night started with a laugh, lou coming out looking for andy, pretending he was an audience member who needed to go to his seat but couldnt before he found andy. Andy then appearered on a jetpack, flew over lou and landed in his wheel chair. FUNNY!!!!

There was a video screen on the backwall, and on this was a picture of the set they were in at the time, which acted as a moving backdrop to each set, and all the scenery were on a series of runners. This was a perfect way to do it, as it really made all the sets more interactive.

They did just about every single sketch you could possibly think of, and did them all in perfect style. The bristol crowd exploded as Vicky Pollard arrived to give her classic "Yeah But No But...." lines, which were well crafted in good old impro style to the tune of La Cucuracha. Once agian, insanely funny.

The best sketch on the night however came at the finale. The curtain had closed after the sebastian sketch, and the group took their bows, however it turned out it was not the end, as the voice of Tom Baker rung out one last time to announce that there was infact one last stop on the tour of LB. The curtain opens in Llansdawi Brefi for the Daffyd sketch, and pretty quickly Daffyd had broken into full song, singing a song that can only be titled "I am a Gay". The whole group comes out dressed in hotpants, and danced as Daffyd sang the following song
Im a gay, so handle it!
Im a gay, so deal with it!
Im a gay, a homosexual gay,
Yes im a gay, a big fat gay!
(this is just the chorus, but i dont know the verses as there was like 10 of them!b)

This moment really well and truly rounded of what was a totally kickass night.

MATT LUCAS AND DAVID WALLIAMS ARE THE KINGS OF COMEDY! BRING ON SERIES 4
