© Alene Supplies Brown worsted weight yarn Yellow or broom-colored worsted weight yarn G/6 (4.00 mm) crochet hook Pencil or pen Stitch marker Tapestry needle Instructions Broomstick Ch 3, join to create a loop. Work 6 sc into loop, but do not join. Continue in the round until the broomstick is the desired length. Broom Join the yellow yarn with a sl st and mark beginning of round with a stitch marker. Round 1: Sc in each sc around. (6 sc) Round 2: Work 2 sc in each sc. (12 sc) Round 3-7: One sc in each sc around. (12 sc) Round 8: (Sc, ch 3) in each sc. Join with a sl st to first sc. (12 ch 3 spaces) Fasten off. With brown yarn, sl st into Rounds 4 & 5, making sure to keep the line straight instead of just working in the round. Fasten off. Weave in all ends. Stick pencil or pen through the end. Final Product  Credit Alene's tutorial was taken with permission.
