Hi everyone! I hope you're all having a great time! smile.gif

Since I just love herbology so much, I'd love to get everyone talking!

*accio barstools!* wizard.gif

*mobili-butterbeers!* chug.gif

I've pulled up some stools for everybody so we can all have one big conversation. We can talk about whatever we like, but I know what I'd like to talk about today, and that's helping the earth. My gran says that beauty is everywhere you look, if you just stop to smell the roses. blush.gif

So let's get chatty, everyone!

Indeed, beauty is everywhere you look. According to one of my favorite songs, "everything is poetry if you see things just the way they are". I always remember that when I walk from my house to college...

Anyways, thanks Neville for starting this thread and thanks Earth for putting up with us! biggrin.gif

Another big thank you, Neville for this!

But, most importantly...a HUGE thank you to Mother Earth(Nature)who has definitely got to be the most tolerant Mother ever...She puts up with our foolishness and yet continues to nurture us, and loves us regardless.

Thank you! hug.gif darkmark.gif

Thank you, Neville. smile.gif And Happy Earth Day to you.

Our bio teacher set up a field trip for us for today. Unfortunately it got canceled 'cause we had a snow blizzard. But nonetheless we're still celebrating beautiful nature. Even though there's a lot of snow here today, I can still see the beauty of it. happy.gif

How are you on this beautiful day? The gernumbli look very excited-- it's very warm! I was even bitten twice. I must have good luck today.

And why is no one in here? SweetTangerine, it is horrible that you had a blizzard, a field trip would have been fun! The world is a wonderful place, we just need to take the time to realize it! So, I was wondering, where was the most beautiful, pretty, most scenic place you have all been to? It should be a fun discussion!

However, I must be going now...I think there's a wrackspurt in here somewhere. *swats at head*

Yes, Luna the blizzard was horrible. It lasted for two days out here. sad.gif Today wasn't as bad though. Just been snowing on and off a bit.

I think the most scenic place I have been to so far would be Banff, Alberta where I spent the day at two summers ago. It has gorgeous mountain scenes. If you go to the photography thread, I posted some pictures of it. happy.gif

Snow! I wish I could have gotten some snow here. Want to send it my way, SweetTangerine.? wink.gif

Today was a really lovely day, at least for colors. Where I live we have been getting tons of rain lately, so everything has been blooming and growing. Everything was just so green today! It was gorgeous just looking at the colors outside.

As to the most scenic place, without a doubt I have to say Laurel Hill State Park. It is absolutly wonderful up there no matter what time of year it is. I can't wait until this summer when I get to go up there again. I've been excited about returning since the last time I was there! smile.gif

The great ideas and discussions in this forum are making me feel inspired to get a new lawn mower--specifically, a rather old-fashioned type, the reel lawn mower, where the only type of power is that of the user pushing it. Town ordinances prevent the original "lawn mowers" or grazers: sheep, goats, and such.

Today it was really nice out! It was gloomy in the morning then we got some nice rain then the sun came out! It was a good day!

The most beautiful place that I have ever been....It would have to be the Eagle River/Phelps area (Wisconsin) where I go every summer for vacation! Our cottage is right on the lake and it is so pretty at any time of day! It always tends to be fantastic!
