In an attempt to keep the other threads around here spoiler free, I thought we would start this thread so we could discuss the crafts you would like to make after reading Deathly Hallows.

I've heard a few mentions of wanting to make Hermione's beaded bag. Others would like to make Horcruxes and Deathly Hallows items as well.

Don't hesitate to share your thoughts and dreams here!

Hm... what would everybody think about Harry's Mokeskin bag? Leather?

Maybe... hairy leather?

...Dyed?

As for the Hallows... I think two of the three are taken care of on appearance, if we want to take the movies as canon for the Cloak and Wand.

Though that would make one tricky Elder Wand.

I kind of thought that it was furry, Xiam. Of course, coming from Hagrid it could also have teeth!

I've just completed a beaded necklace with the symbol for the Deathly Hallows as a charm. If you want to check it out, you can click here:Deathly Hallows Beaded Necklace. Here's a closer view of the charm: Deathly Hallows Charm.

I think making Mr.Lovegood's watch would be neat.
I was also thinking about making the tiara..
Although both would be difficult but over time I think it could be done over time and it would be pretty neat!

Yeah, I thought it was furry too. I was going to mention that, but I feared someone would get on me about it.

Looks like the opposite happened. XD

So a kind of leather with fur still on it, then? Or just go lazy and try for a fury textile?

I'm interested in Hermione's beaded bag. I'm guessing it'd be lilac to match her dress. It's kinda funny because I don't like carrying bags unless their over the shoulder. Anyway, here's the chapter art from Ch.9 where you can see Mary GrandPre's version of it.

Love the bookmarks!

I'm making an attempt at Harry's Snitch Birthday cake for a Potter party my friends and I are having this weekend. Too bad I can't enchant it to fly. smile.gif

Ooooooooo, I'm intrigued, sallene.

Make sure to send your pics and recipe to crafts@the-leaky-cauldron.org, and we'll post a tutorial for it in your name.
