Before Deathly Hallows came out, there were many unanswered questions, and plot lines that needed further development and closure. We learned so much at the end of Deathly Hallows. For example, we finally learned how an infant Harry survived Voldemort's attack, we learned that Snape loved Lily, and we found out a lot more about Dumbledore and his past.
So what are some of the most exciting things you learned after reading DH? Were all of your questions answered; if not; what questions or plot lines did you want explained, or further developed? Were you happy with the way DH ended, and were you finally satisfied with the conclusion of the Harry Potter series? Have fun -------------------- ![]() |

Personally, I felt that DH raised more questions than it answered. Although we did get answers to many things, DH raised new questions and left many questions even from as far back as Book 1 unanswered.
I guess I was excited to have anything explained but if I had to pick the most exciting, for me it was everything connected with Snape, his childhood experiences with Lily, the love he still carried inside of him. *sigh* And DD because we knew so little about him, so it was awesome to have so much news of his life. There are just too many things to list that I'd like answered, so I'll just say *everything*, plus all the events of the missing 19 years. It would be my dream come true for JKR to write a Prequel and Book 8, because I feel there's more than enough unexplained and unanswered things from before Book 1 to write an OoTP-length prequel, & so many unanswered questions to write Book 8. -------------------- I'm 1 of the 99.99% W.L.Y.J. One question I have had since GOF is why the house-elves were enslaved in the first place. Also, why were the Goblins, Mer-people and Centaurs all treated like mere creatures as well? We did get some oblique references to the Goblin wars but that didn't explain very much.

I thought Deathly Hallows was perfect. What I would like to know though, and maybe it was announced but I missed it, is what the other titles Jo was (siriusly) considering were.
