Hey everyone! HPANA posted a rumor about the track list for the Deathly Hallows. Here it is. I figured we could look at it and discuss how we think they'll sound, what this means about the movie, and which ones we are most excited for!
1. Overture (02:15) 2. Voldemort’s Waltz (3:10) 3. The Squad’s Arrival/Seven Potters (3:40) 4. Battle in the Sky (4:51) 5. A Fallen Warrior’s Elegy (01:15) 6. Weasley Wedding (1:59) 7. The Dance of the Friends (2:33) 8. City Streets (0:55) 9. Grimmauld Place/The Plan (3:00) 10. Horrocruxes’ Theme (2:45) 11. Letters from the Past (3:55) 12. Dolores, the Judge (1:25) 13. Escape from the Ministry (5:28) 14. Voldemort’s Plan (1:26) 15. Ron Leaves/Hermione’s Despair (4:31) 16. Walking through Godric’s Hollow (2:05) 17. The Secret of Bathilda Baghshot (3:10) 18. Harry’s Theme (2:49) 19. The Light (1:13) 20. Ron’s Time (4:55) 21. Deathly Hallow’s Theme (3:10) 22. What have you done? (1:00) 23. Battel against the Snatchers (5:24) 24. Voldemort Reprise (0:44) 25. Lost Hopes (1:17) 26. End Credits (Deathly Hallows Suite) (7:05) I have to say I am most interested in hearing Elegy for a Fallen Warrior, Voldemort's Waltz, and Letters from the Past. I'm hoping that Letters from the Past is reminiscent of Window to the Past, which is one of my favorite Harry Potter songs. Also, it looks like a lot has been kept, and gives us an idea of where it'll split, which is somewhere right before Malfoy Manor. |

I know! I'm wondering if the Ron Leaves/Hermione Despairs will be like when Harry comforted her in HBP. I know it's a different composer, but who knows. And Voldemort's Waltz, I'm assuming, will be with the scene at the beginning in Malfoy Manor. I'm also interested in the short songs that are less than a minute long ( City Streets and Voldemort Reprise). Can't wait to hear this. I hope it's released like a week before the movie, so I can listen to it before the movie.

Overture is definitely hedwig's theme kinda thing. Voldemort's Waltz is most likely the death eater gathering. It's probably going to be a be kind of a creepy sounding song. Squad's Arrival/Seven Potters is most likely going to be like the song working its way up to the big action scene Battle in the Sky is the big action sounding theme Fallen Warrior's Elegy is most likely going to be rather sad music on account of moody's death Weasley Wedding is most likely a waltzy sort of music The Dance of the friends: what else is there to say? City Streets: Creepy but exciting music Grimmauld Place/The plan: Mischeivous and quiet I really don't want to explain them all right now but... just by the names of these you can tell where the movie ends. |

Looks promising! By the last few tracks... it sort of looks like maybe they'll have malfoy manor in the last film, and split after dobby dies.. Im hoping anyway!
I hope the music is good, I wasnt to thrilled with Alexandre Displats score on 'New Moon' . |

I'm so excited! If these are the real tracks, which I'm confident they are, because HPANA posted this and then took it down at the request of someone, then Malfoy Manor and the Silver Doe are in PART ONE! So good!

This sounds really good! I hope it's legit, and my gut tells me it might be if HPANA was asked to take it down. It could change, to be sure, but I like it!
The Battle in the Sky ought to be exciting, with some sad moments mixed in of course. And Letters from the Past tells me they might be including Lily's letter to Sirius--hooray! As for what it tell us about the split, I REALLY hope you all are right that it's after Malfoy Manor (preferably Dobby's burial), but I'm not sure we can say that without a doubt. Yes, there is a Voldemort's Reprise and Lost Hope after the Snatcher chase, but they're short. Of course, there might not be a lot of music--or at least soundtrack-worthy music--while at Malfoy Manor; Voldemort's Reprise might be when they've called him and know he's on the way there and the "Lost Hope" might be Dobby's death??? But I can also see how the Lost Hope might refer to being captured with no idea how to get out of there. |

But like you said, there may be more action than music at the Malfoy Manor scene or something, so not a lot of music is played? (I hope) I just hope they include as much as possible in the first film, I'd love for it to end after we see Voldemort break into Dumbledore's tomb (would be soo awesome!) Because I reckon so much truth is uncovered in the last half, that they need to give it loads of time (mainly the chapter 'The Princes Tale', and the King's Cross scene) As for Letters from the past, that might be uncovering Albus dumbledore's letters to Grindelwald ? I'm just sceptical they'll include Lilly's Letter. But I reeallyy hope they do. |

I too am skeptical about Lilly's letter, but I am thinking that might be when they introduce the mirror shared, maybe working it in somehow, because we know the shard is in the movie, but don't know how it is going to be introduced. The Dumbledore/Grindelwald scenes are some I'm excited to see, so I hope for epic music.

Re: whether "Letters from the Past" refers to Lily's letter to Sirius, I guess we'll have to see! I was just noticing that it occurs right after the Grimmauld Place track and seems to happen while they're staying there, so I can't think what else it might be. Y'all might be right about letters from Dumbledore to Grindelwald, but the timing doesn't seem right. Of course, Lily does mention that she can't believe Dumbledore and Grendelwald could have been friends. I actually don't think it would be a long shot for that letter to be included since it contains that mention about Dumbledore and also Snape taking the second page of the letter.... And I agree that the mirror shard could be introduced at Grimmauld Place. But the truth is this list might be bogus, so who knows! Enjoying the speculation, though!
