"Dobby is FREE!" FanArt Challenge for May 08

At the end of May in Harry's second year a wonderful thing happened! The Malfoy's House Elf, Dobby was passed a sock by Lucius Malfoy that freed him from his unwilling servitude.

In honour of that momentous May event, the TLC FanArt Challenge for May will be to draw Dobby! You can depict him any way you like and in any graphic format, except for photo-manipulations of the film character. The forum requirement is that it be hosted by an image site such as PhotoBucket or Image Shack, and be posted here for the first time before uploading to your FanArt album or other artsite.

As with ALL TLC FanArt Challenges here in the FA Gallery Forum, there is no deadline, although this challenge IS slated for the month of May. Can't wait to see all the happy free House Elves!

I really like your Dobby, rowena r -- the tea cozy is a nice detail!

As usual, some late visitor's piece is incredible! And, as Dumbledore might say, as the next great adventure, death does truly set one free.

As mentioned on TLC Main June 28th is Dobby's birthday.

This challenge is still open for submissions (as are all our character FanArt challenges) so come celebrate Dobby's special day by drawing him! Perhaps amongst a pile of birthday socks!
