Supplies Fingering weight yarn in two colors Set of 5 US0 (2.0 mm) DPNs Yarn Needle
Gauge 44 stitches x 64 rows per 4" (10.16 cm)
Finished Measurements 1 " wide x 13.25 " long (2.54 cm x 33.66 cm)
Instructions Provisionally cast on 6 stitches with the main color (MC) onto one of your DPNs.
Purl one row.
Knit one row.
Pick up the stitches from the cast on edge onto another DPN, making sure there are 6 stitches on each needle and removing the waste yarn.
Continue to knit around the picked-up stitches, dividing onto 4 DPNs if desired.
*K1, M1L, knit 4, M1R, K2, M1L, knit 4, M1R, K1
Knit one round.**
Repeat from * to **, knitting 6, then 8 stitches in place of the knit 4, until there is a total of 24 stitches.
Switch to the contrasting color (CC) and knit 20 rounds.
Switch to MC and add a short row heel with 3 wraps per side.
Switch to CC and knit 30 rounds.
Switch to MC and knit one round.
Switch to CC and knit 11 rounds.
Switch to MC and knit 2 rounds.
Switch to CC 2 and knit 9 rounds.
Switch to MC and knit 3 rounds.
Switch to CC and knit 7 rounds.
Switch to MC and knit 4 rounds.
Switch to CC and knit 5 rounds.
Switch to MC and knit 5 rounds.
Switch to CC and knit 4 rounds.
Switch to MC and knit 7 rounds.
Switch to CC and knit 3 rounds.
Switch to MC and knit 9 rounds.
Switch to CC and knit 2 rounds.
Switch to MC and knit 11 rounds.
Switch to CC and knit one round.
Switch to MC and knit 30 rounds.
Switch to CC and add another heel, making sure that it is on the same side as the first.
Switch to MC and knit 20 rounds.
*Switch to CC and knit one round.
SSK, knit 8, k2tog, SSK, knit 8, k2tog**
Repeat from * to **, knitting 6, then 4 stitches in place of the knit 8.
Kitchener your remaining toe stitches closed.
Use yarn needle to thread ends in.
