Yay for demo! I cant wait to cast spells and stuff.
In the video, Making Chores Easier, I noticed it may take a while to cast a spell. I hope it is quick with the sixaxis.

i was wondering the same thing tengent. i mean, it would be cool with the Wii since the Wiimote looks like a wand anyway, but it would feel strange with the PS3 controller as it looks nothing like a wand.

i noticed in those pictures of the designers and producers etc of the game that they are super imposed into the game and in the picture of justin manning, it is night time which looks really awesome. can't wait to wander hogwarts at night. i loved how in previous games how you could explore at night an there was an eerie feeling that you felt when outside by yourself, but it was also quite peaceful at times when looking at the moon over the lake.

Ryan, I dont think were going to be able to explore all of Hogwarts at night. Didn't an interview say that for the scene with Harrys dream about Mr. Weasley they had to do a Gryffindor Common Room at night, the grand staircase at night, the Entrance Hall at night, and so on...Im sure they said that but I don't know if that means we're on a set path...or all of Hogwarts is open to us.

What about weather patterns?
We have day and night, but we don't do time of day, because it gets us into all sorts of continuity problems, as if you think about the movie it flows all in one direction, so they can have it change from summer to winter, as they place in a little transition here and there and can have it change like that, but for us to have to relight the entire world and you can't swap and change it all around. It is something that we thought about doing, but in one of these games we will feature the Whomping Willow season changing scene, because that is so cool, I would love to do that. But we did do day and night, we have got sunset and things like that, but they are really for specific fictional key moments, like for instance when Harry wakes up from his nightmare where Mr. Weasley has been attacked. He's in bed and asleep and it can't be daylight, you know, we can't get away with Harry running down to Dumbledore's office when it is daylight as that would be rubbish, so we had to do a version of the common room at night, the grand staircase at night, the entrance hall at night, so it just had to be done and it all looks really cool.

Theres the Q&A from TheSnitch.co.uk I hope we get all of Hogwarts at night, but it doesn't sound to promising..

Heres a list of definite spells in the game, taken from HPfans.de

awww dat sucks coz i really wanted to go outside of hogwarts at night. sad.gif, I hope dat with the hbp they improve the weather patterns nd day nd night system alot because they already have hogwarts built. I hope they also have flying and most of alll!!!!!!!!!! Alan Rickman, Michael Gambons, and Dan Radcliffe's voices. It wouldnt b right without them. I wonder if Ralph fiennes voiced Voldemort for the ootp.....he voiced him for the GoF so it would only seem natural dat he wuld do it again....welll dats wat I hope. wizard.gif

Okay Now Do you guys think that EA will change the layout of the castle for the upcoming HBP game. For example hide more secret places and Stuff?

Also where are you guys getting this report from. (the one about the new HBP)

I dont think they they will change it drastically, in fact i would say they will not change it all seeing as it will b exactly like da movie version dis time round. i think they will b doin some new areas like hogsmeade.

The Snitch Article refers to HBP....even though this is slightly off-topic wink.gif

They won't change hogwarts that much, they'd have to add alot to it though such as the astronomy tower and whatnot. But the layout will be exaclty the same, so now they have more time to program more things, like flying, more characters, Hogsmeade, Quidditch etc.

Whitewizardp, please type normally, hate to be mod-like, but "da movie" and "dis time around" makes you sound uneducated, which of course your not thumbup.gif

Oooo. I hope all the spells work properly. Like Rictusempra better not make people fly backwards. It's a tickling charm!
