As we already have threads in here to discuss who you would like to see added to the FanArt Gallery, and who your favourite FanArtist is, I thought we might like to have a general "I like this artist" or "this drawing is sooo wonderful" thread.
 If there is an artist in the FanArt Gallery whose work really gets you exicted, then go ahead and link to their album in here, and say what you like about their works. If there is a specific picture from their album you would like to discuss then you can either copy the image to your computer and resize to about 400 x 200 pixels and host the image on Image Shack or Photobucket to post. Or you can link to the image from the FanArt Gallery.  So--whose or what kind of FanArt gets you excited? Tell us about it!

There are far too many great FanArtists around and in the Gallery to pick only a few favourites!
I am in awe of this image of Tom Riddle by Rotae --
The use of light and shadow--with the glowing red eye that just pulls you in . . . amazing!

Hi all. Does anyone who checks out fanart more regularly than I do know what happened to marta and artdungeon? She used to be one of my favourite artists but now artdungeon won't load! Has she changed her site or something? Or is she gone forever? (nooooooooooo!)

Obviously anything from Makani, the girl manages to wow me and make me laugh at the same time.
I also love anything from Caladan_dd, reallycorking, Hillary-CW, blue-nadir, IdrilAncalimon, leelastarsky, and many, many more.  God, there are so many good HP artists out there! PS. Sorry for all the links to the non-Fanart gallery websites, but I wasn't sure if they all had albums, and I wanted to share my appreciation of them anyway.

Okay, first of all...this is my first ever post on here...and this place is amazing. Always been a massive fan of HP, actually that's a lie haha i didn't wanna jump on the harry potter bandwagon when the first book came out...finally after my mum got it for me for christmas i read it and the rest is history hahaha...
But the point here was some of that fan artwork is amazing! Seriously most of these people should be looking at careers in art if they're not already doing so. That one at the top of the page with dumbledore dead and fawkes holding his glasses is just mind blowing! Whenever I think of fan art i imagine badly drawn stick figures, considering thats about the highest of my ability hahaha. This is just amazing...almost as amazing as JKR herself...As sad as this sounds, I stumbled across the fan art 2 nights ago (it was a sunday) at around midnight becuase I was reading the JKR mugglenet/leaky interview (also amazing) and I was up till 4am just looking at the pictures...the next day hurt alot haha Hoping I don't get the whole "noob" thing here like on other boards...i'm re-reading all the books again i'm up to the HBP again cannot wait to re-read DH. For the first time in my life books take first place to movies...by far! lol -------------------- Albus Dumbledore: "Soon we must all face the choice between what is right and what is easy."
