An update on the scores. Just a reminder that the positions are based on the points. Each time a book is ranked 1st it gets 7 points, 2nd is 6 points etc. The rest of the info is just for interest's sake.
7. Chamber of Secrets (439 points, ranked first once and last 104 times 6. Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone (598 points, ranked first 7 times and last 45 times) 5. Goblet of Fire (807 points, ranked first 43 times and last 24 times) 4. Prisoner of Azkaban (976 points, ranked first 31 times and last 11 times) 3. Order of the Phoenix (1004 points, ranked first 28 times and last 10 times) 2. Half-Blood Prince (1010 points, ranked first 34 times and last 12 times) 1. Deathly Hallows (1291 points, ranked first 102 times and last 8 times) OotP and HBP briefly switched places since the last time I did the scores but then switched back again. |

Of course, it would be Deathly Hallows.. All of the suspense, action, thrill, humor, romance, EVERYTHING in the first six books can be found in the last book...
And, actually, it was the book that I read fastest than the other ones. Well perhaps it's being the final installment made me more eager to finish it as fast as possible. haha. This post has been edited by lirene: Nov 4 2009, 12:43 PM

1. DH - Absolutely my fave book! I can't imagine how I'd react if my book got lost or destroyed, it makes me happy just by rereading it. All the best sad, and climatic scenes are in this book. It clears up everything from the past books! From the wands, to what Dumbledore wants Harry to do, to where Snape belong!
2. GoF - the first task made my heart beat like there's no tomorrow. The cemetary/wand scene in the end was pretty good too. 3. PS/SS - This book is very interesting, especially for a wizard/witch starter. It talks about these stuff that a normal person can't have; like wands, cauldrons, spells, and a two-faced professor. 4. HBP - It's got very special info in it. Like Dumbldore's death, Snape being the HBP, Harry and Ginny. Got to admit, those are undescribable details. 5. OoTP - The DA, OoTP... Sirius' death. Luna. Umbridge and her deeds. Enough said. 6. CoS - When can you face off a giant snake and win? I like this book, but not enough to beat the ohers. 7. PoA - A lot of you might think I'm stupid for this. But I just don't see why meeting your godfather is a thriller. This is still a great book though! We got all our opinions, don't we? -------------------- "There are all kinds of courage. It takes a great deal of courage to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends." -Dumbledore ![]() |
